Such a sh*te round 1. -4. Aaaaarghhhhh! Had an eagle on 10 but x2 bogeys and a double do not help my cause for avoiding my first demotion mark. I think I'll stick to TST!

A better 2nd round at -7 but still not good enough to make the cut and likely to grab a demotion mark. Played so well in the Qualifier and have left my mojo on the 18th at Toowoomba.

-49 for me this week, some crazy scores going in. Found the course very easy to play at times

Only played 2 rounds, I didn't think my -4 would be enough to get through. The start of my round 2 summed everything up, bogey, double bogey, eagle, eagle, bogey. When my tempo goes on xbox it doesn't just go, it doesn't come back.

-38 this week for YOUR Mayor, if I made the cut. Onward! Well done Art. You played well! Unfortunately I fell off another "cliff" (the other one being in Spain in TST), broke my arm and earnt my first demotion point. I guess all I can say then is... onward!

Hoping someone can provide some further education re. demotion/promotion marks. See below leaderboard for CC-C. Using Matt Burch as an example... he has x1 promo mark but has been awarded x2 demotion marks for current tourney. Questions: 1. How has Matt earnt x2 demotion marks when others around him have only earnt x1? 2. Does Matt have the x1 promo mark because he was recently promoted from CC-D? Or because he played well enough in CC-C the previous week? And pls ignore the player 3 spots down from Matt! Cheers

Cheers You can negate a promotion mark or a demotion mark based off of making/missing the cut. Have a promo mark(s)? Miss the cut and you lose one. Have a demo mark(s)? Make the cut and you lose one. This is separate from the top and bottom of the field marks one can earn and they can add together in a week. That accounts for one of the red demotion marks. The other demo mark is for being in the low end 7.5%-15% range of the field, which is the 1 demo mark range. Matt has 1 promo mark from earning it as a CC-C tour member (carry-forward from previous weeks). When someone is demoted or promoted they will always start with no marks on their new tour. Since this is still an active event, the red demo marks haven't been applied yet. If this field ended exactly like this, then +1 carry-forward marks -2 weekly marks comes out to a net of -1 (1 red mark) starting next week.

I thought you could only earn x2 demotion marks for finishing bottom 7.5%. Your explanation makes sense. You could earn x3 demotion marks in one week right? +1 for previous week but then miss the cut and finish bottom 7.5% the next week = x3 demotion marks right?

If you look at the CC-B leaderboard you can see an example of both if the field finished as is. www.tgctours.com/Tournament/LeaderBoard/6489

Good news fellow Triple Cers! I have won re-election by a landslide and will remain your Mayor. Onward! The Mayor's doing pretty well in the Autism Speaks Charity tourney. Any tips on how to make a damn cut for one of his constituents? Played really well in the Qualifier at Toowoomba but it's all been down hill from then.
