Been ages since i last played true sim …..
one thing i did was look more at the approach shot how it roles out and how the green looks

I might give this a try..i expect to be bad cos putting is NOT my strong point. I usually take a quick look & hit. Prob not good with no grids.

Dan posted some good tips on putting there and as I say feel free to take ghosts as well if it helps a little. It's a bit of a steep learning curve at first but just a bit of fun really. |

Played 1st rd shot +2..first time ever with no green grid..didn't play with a ghost..had about 4 pars..1 eagle..1 double the rest were birdie or bogey. Dont know if i have the patience to study putts but it was different & quite enjoyable except for putting. Will keep at it for now.

And aye feel free to drop in as when you like. There's no buy-in or leaderboards etc. and I know it's a bit more time-consuming on these settings. |

Almost tempted to blow the dust off my XB (not been used since the swing changes) to give this a go. If TST remains on Master level which it looks like it will I may well join you for some sim fun as there is nothing similar available on PC (my weapon of choice).

OMG i shot -4 1st rd at Belfry..still dont have a clue on putting luckily my approaches were mostly good.

The Ultra Sim is also going Pro, 4 round events on real courses runs Sunday to Saturday if anyone is interested.
They do a cross platform leaderboard.
XB society is USE Pro Tour, I happen to be the admin since I ended up being the only XB guy last season..
