Welcome to Rye Valley CC. Borrowing ideas from Sheep Ranch and Trinity Forest I tried to create a course that was just fun to play. Minimal sculpting was done after the initial plot creation. I set a challenge to find good green sites then find interesting angles to approach them from. You'll notice it's bunkerless and wide. There are plenty of ridges, peaks, and valleys to navigate throughout the fairways. Some will kick your balls in the fairway, some will kick your balls off the fairway. Some will just kick your balls. Stay on the right part of the fairway and the right side of the green and you should do well. Check that the fairways are set to firm. Should play well in any wind. Thank you to mctrees02 for the plot pic and axelvonfersen for the advice on adding the routing lines (and naming the course).

Kenyon this is awesome. Totally see and love the Sheep Ranch influence. The ruggedness of the course is done really well. But man there are so many butt pucker shots here for those being aggressive, probably none more then Shot 2 on 16. Really enjoyed this and hope it gets some love in the comp!

Easily the best Kenyon track I've played. I've always liked your green sculpting, but these are the best I've seen from you. Stunner environment too, great work!

cd06 Thanks glad you enjoyed it. Most hole designs and greens are just a more mature version of ideas I've tried in the past. Greens play fair maxed out too for anyone willing to try. trailducker 16 is one of my favorites on the course. I tried to make a version of Trinity Forests 7th that was strategic in the game, was playable, and bunkerless. Here's hoping🤞. axelvonfersen Eat me. I'm slow. thecommunity You're welcome.

What a fun track. Took me a few holes to fully appreciate it (that's on me), but boy oh boy is a good one!

“All-natural” style courses are my favorite and this one looks choice. Pumped to play this one and preemptive great job! (I already know it will be good 😁)

Man what a nice course this is. I love how pure and understated it is. The elements of strategy, visuals, topography, and relative difficulty combine perfectly here to present a really enjoyable round of golf. Also, kudos on having the balls to go bunkerless for a competition course. Bold choice! Good luck in the contest I think this one will do well 👍🏻!
