When I first saw this name I was a little scared this was an RCR aid the Houston clubcorp track that shares the same name lol. (https://www.clubcorp.com/clubs/the-club-at-falcon-point/) That course legit one of the worst I’ve played IRL with island fairways and water on all 18 holes lmao.
Fortunately this track was light years ahead of the real one in Houston and overall was a stunner. Absolutely love the hole 1 cape great risk reward hole. 2 has great strategy as well being a excellent shorter 4. Generally I loved the strategy of almost all the holes. 16 felt the trees a touch too close to the right making it almost impossible to try to cut the corner without a big shot shape, but I get the strategy here trying to force you to go left. Hole felt a little difficult for length of hole, but I honestly think I’m fine with it and need to play it again to see. Then pin 1 on hole 17 felt totally inaccessible with a strong wind at my back to the south. 175y and only 3 squares to run it up on with a 6 foot drop if you miss it short felt a little unfair. Guess you can try to fade it from the right but the wind for me made it almost impossible. Absolutely loved 18 being a callback to hole 1 and loved the course as a hole. Shot +5 with a 41 on the front.
Only other thing I’d say is I thought there was a little too much OB but that’s personal preference IMO. Course was phenomenal, loved the strategy and the planting was spectacular. Think this makes a great tour course and would love to see it there.

Environment is great. Loved the views off the sides of some of the cliff holes and the rock work tied in that rugged feeling. Definitely some knee knocker shots to hit. Some of the pins (played pin 3) seemed a bit tight as far as slopes and amount of space to hit the required shot. I know a couple were par 5s that I was questioning and there should be no expectation of getting close in 2 but the slopes really made me not even think of going for it. Fairways were good, planting was very well done, bunkers solid. Think my only demerit for this course is the green slopes being a hit too aggressive. But overall, solid work Bear
