I have been working on this one off and on since the start of the year, my first attempt at making a course. This is a local course that has since been shut down, I have never played a round here but only stumbled across it one day on foot and thought it was a pretty cool place. It is listed as Sycamore Creek GC TX and can also be found under Sycamore Creek My steam ID is atomsham This course is unique in the first tee is sitting up on a hill, and the green is 30' below. There are a couple par 4 holes, and a couple holes that set up a hole-in-one opportunity. This is only a 9 hole course! It was fun reading about the course and studying anything I could find about it. Any feedback is welcome and I will probably plug away at it some more and revise it further down the line. Hole 1 tee (On top of hill, green is 30' lower!)
Here is Hole 3, which has a large pond in front of it, also a opportunity for a hole in one!
This is the green on Hole 6, which is on the other side of the actual creek, but one of my favorite holes on this course.
Approaching Hole 8, the view would be south, and a slight overview of the course layout.

Just played "Sycamore Creek", and it was a fun round. I like the fact that you're trying to "save" a course that's no longer open via creating it in the game!
I thought some of the planting was good, and the layout was fine. But there were some harsh sculping issues and bunkers could use a little more work. I would say to watch the tutorials by b101 and CrazyCanuck1985 if you haven't.
Also, just as an FYI for future publishes, green speeds this slow (110 - which refers to the max distance you can hit your putter) aren't advised, especially if you're considering building a course that would be looked at for use on TGCT. And also, the greens here were basically as flat as a table top with no real break to them. Watching the tutorials will help with that, too.
Thanks for creating and sharing this course!
