Not to be confused with the Cardiff in Whales, Cardiff By The Sea is a small town in-between La Jolla and Encinitas in San Diego, CA, about 5 minutes North of Torrey Pines. This is a fictional course that will have you playing on the ocean front and in the woods equally. Its a short course at 6900 yards from the tips and a par 70. It will challenge your iron play as the greens are small with plenty of slope. Hoe you enjoy it. Thanks for playing! If you like a challenge keep the settings to default, otherwise you may want to slow the green speed down a tad as they are 187. I was building two CC Contest courses at the same time. This was the one I didn't submit for judging.

Cool setting, very nice waterfall! The lighting and planting were excellent. Love this look.
Played on default settings, and the greens set at 187 on default, and with the small size of the greens, meant a lot of focus on the short game. Hit some long-ish putts and managed a 5-under 65.
Great job!

Great job! Thanks so much for the play and the nice words. Its my first time doing that type of bunkering. Thought it came out pretty decent. I was contemplating turning the greens down a bit, but nah, its short, what the hell, right?! LoL

I think you did a good job of capturing the setting of that area of the world, and it’s nice to play a sub 7000 yds layout once in a while, and enjoyed navigating my way around. Nice work!

FInally got a chance to play and what a great enviornment! The way you mixed the trees together to make unique trees on their own was done very well. The hole designs are very interesting too and make you stop a few times to really decide what is the best mode of attacking. Well done man this deserves quite a bit more attention so hopefully this bump gives it some!
