I'm creating this thread as a placeholder and will fill in more details and include some WIP screenshots of my course later.

As the name implies, this course is build on a singular island found somewhere in the Swiss Alps.  It's not truly lonely, as there are animals and rocks and trees and some small waterfalls peaking out of the rocks and lo and behold, there is an 18 hole golf course there too!

Originally intended as a retreat for a recluse lighthouse keeper and his wife, the word got out and they've extended an invitation for golfers to fly in and play a round.

Due to space limitations and the desire for a full 18 holes, the course is built with a hybrid, reversible idea for many holes.  You'll find holes that share fairways, hazards and greens, yet the strategy of each is unique.

Animals do roam the course, so please leave them as undisturbed as possible.  Limited, but spacious & fully furnished housing is available around the island for those who would like to stay overnight.

I've had to do some creative routing, as I had five par 3's on the back nine!   A few adjustments and we're good again!  :-)

Here is an overview of the course, which as you should be able to tell is a reversible course fitted in a 1000 x 900 area.  Measuring a little over 7,000 yards and full of a variety of "fun & casual" shots (shoutout to mattyfromcanada for the phrase)

You'll find numerous huge, double-greens, water, rolling fairways, cliffs, waterfalls and other fun elements.

I had to remove some fairway splines, due to the new routing, so you'll notice some holes don't have fairways.  That will be done tonight and then finishing pinsets, some planting, and some additional "extras"

I'm looking forward to running through a number of playtests, but expect to publish ahead of the deadline.

Finishing some teeing grounds, minor sculpting tweaks and pay third TJ verify fair pin sets and holes. Not much left and will post some pictures in the morning.

Proud of this effort and likely my best project to date.
