Phantom shots by Ghosts?

Dear Golfers;

I play lots of matches against ghosts, and 75% of the time, it's great, just regular golf, I enjoy the competition.  But occasionally, there's something weird going on.  For instance, the ghost will hit it into a bunker, and his next shot will be from the fairway, and a stroke hasn't been added to him. Or, he'll hit it clearly 20 or 30 yards into the water, and the next shot is from the fairway, without a stroke penalty. What's going on here?  Is it some kind of a mulligan, and they just don't show the shot that puts them into the fairway.  Or, is there some way to move your ball around, without incurring a stroke?

It's just a bug. It happens sometimes but I can't explain why.

Ok, thanks for that. Just to clarify, it's just a bug that happens to the ghosts? I can say I've never had my ball moved from a bunker to the fairway without a stroke penalty. Are you saying I should stop screaming at the ghosts?

I don't think it accurately shows every shot hit by the ghost. For example, someone used my ghost and it showed my shot went into a bunker and then the next shot it showed me hit was a putt so they thought I was cheating.

I've noticed that as well. Last night I saw a ghost hit his ball into the rough near a bunker then his next shot was from the bunker. Seen similar things happen before.

I've also had this issue with my own player in the past where I'll have a run of bad tempo, hit a shot then shut down and restart the game, and when it replays the shot the ball ends up in a completely different place to where the original shot ended up, usually significantly shorter distance. That is not good enough and it does annoy me, but I don't take much notice of it happening to ghosts.
