Fairways: All the edges of the fairways should be smoothish and flatish. What I mean by that is to remove most excessive humps and bumps. An example is the 1st i.imgur.com/cPLLtOn.jpg, and the 17th i.imgur.com/x5amLIE.jpg
Bunkers: Shape, size, depth, smooth edges, location. The trouble with using shapes is it has un-natural edges. Example 13th i.imgur.com/CQTg54h.jpg The bunker lip has 3 surfaces of light rough, bare ground and heavy rough and here on the 15th i.imgur.com/tN5MxLp.jpg.
Size: the 6th bunker is about 5 times the size of the green, i.imgur.com/uZMm56l.jpg I would consider this excessive.
Depth: The bunker on 4 would be a little deep near the green i.imgur.com/Ayvyw0I.jpg and this one on the 7th i.imgur.com/zcaQtNT.jpg
Location: Green side bunkers are important and need more work than fairway bunkers, because they are "used" more. This one on the first i.imgur.com/HBGOufF.jpg is in a good location but cuts across 4 surfaces. (green, fairway, light and heavy rough). It also "eats" into the green.
Smooth lips: i.imgur.com/wxuyXet.jpg You can see the front one (furthest in this pic) is not as smooth as the back one (closest).
Bridges: I like to ensure the entry and exit points are neat. The kind of bridge is important too. I would have gone with a softer bridge and check the on/off i.imgur.com/criAgbX.jpg
Waterfalls: Ensure they are level with the water table i.imgur.com/vmLbUjF.jpg. Also give them a reason to be there and plant them out i.imgur.com/x0afGWj.jpg so they are not bare.
Fences: If you're going to use them make sure they are constructed correctly. No posts in the air i.imgur.com/pqR6ncR.jpg and connected rails i.imgur.com/HWBqI58.jpg
Jurassic planting: The 14th caught you out, where the planting is oversized. OK for far away stuff where you can't size it, but when you hit into it. i.imgur.com/IdwGPcT.jpg
I do love your clubhouse! i.imgur.com/tkLTPdi.jpg
I really appreciate the feedback. Can I ask how you got those screen shots?
I can't say I disagree with you on any point except one. The way you pictured the green/bunker on #6 does make that ratio look way off. But that hole is a short par 4 and the bunker acts as a hazard across the back of the fairway as well. I suppose I could have split into 3 bunkers but I liked it as one. I suppose a big bunker is a bit out of place with the rest of the course.
You may have caught the only post that was higher than the ground. I think I went through that fence line 4 times.
Thanks for the feedback on the clubhouse.
