Maybe it's me and I can no longer find the option? If it has been removed on purpose then I am not a fan of not being able to correct an error or make something more clear. I know, read before you post, but all the other forums I use allow editing and it would be a very hard habit to break after all these years.

Yeah, it's driving me nuts. If I notice a typo or something after the fact... I always go in and edit. Can't do that now and staring at typos I can't fix is just taunting my OCD.
Also there might be times when I make a post, but in looking at it later maybe it was worded not as effectively... or I've thought of a different/better way to make my point... and now can't edit it. I guess theoretically you could quote your own post and then edit the quote... but that just doubles down the posts, and seems a bit silly.
Figure they did it for a reason, so I'm just rolling with it.

I hate the 5 min. Rule. I sometimes post in a rush, or from my phone. I always find errors later. Bugs me to no end not being able to correct them.
