Hello everyone!
So, for giggles I thought I'd create a thread asking what your top 10 courses from the contest were! Feel free to chime in with your thoughts - whether you're in the main field, an onlooker or whatever
10 - Rio Villegas by Heisenberg (Argentina)
Incredible mountain environment here and the usual great golf as you'd expect on any Heisenberg course, 17 late on in the round was a stunning little short three too!
9 - Andongo Village by ddixjr509 (Angola)
This has to be one of my favourite environments of the contest, amazing rock work and that waterfall was perfectly done... even to mattyfromcanada
Loved the bunker work too.
8 - The Aurangabad Club by gamesdecent (India)
While definitely polarising in some aspects the environment worked brilliantly and the sculpting was top-notch too. Man those greens were tough! Lighting worked great as well.
7 - GC Mullerweg e.V by agrainger12 (Germany)
Definitely an awesome environment but the golf was really good fun with the fairway undulations and waste bunker work, very tough but a joy to play and the planting was sublime.
6 - Real Club de Mallorca by nitro22 (Spain)
Another fantastic environment and definitely the best strategy I've seen from Rohan, bunker work is sublime and I loved the par threes on the back nine too. A strong contender!
5 - Chuysky Trakt by Q (Russia)
So, so unique and cleverly designed! Rocky terrain looked beautiful and some really fun golf even though the course can kick you hard! 3 is so much fun and very satisfying to hit the green.
4 - Ouarzazate by b101 (Morocco)
Moroccobelt time! Ben nails it again with this stunning sandbelt course in the desert, cracking environment and sculpting and those greens were great fun
3 - Lauterbrunnen by Energ1ser (Switzerland)
In terms of nailing an IRL location this has to be right up there, golf was awesome and those greens were brilliant too. Excellent sculpting and right from the first tee you know this one will be great!
2 - Bungalow Beach Club by jwtexan (Maldives)
Stunning tropical course here and despite the elevation constraints Wes nailed this one! Pete Dye vibes worked brilliantly for me and those driveable par fours were great fun to play.
1 - Muirhead Plantation by tpetro (Bermuda)
Wow. This course has it all, fantastic strategy and sculpting and a cracking environment to match, excellent work here! My favourite course of the contest, loved everything about it
