How do people feel about starting a new season in 3 weeks (29th November)? I will run a placement tournament again and using this seasons scoring and the placement tournament scoring to achieve the final pairings. It will be (hopefully) the same Admin team as I have to say they've done a bang up job this season, and will be the same format : Teams of 2 made up of a stronger and a weaker player to 'level the playing field', playing a round robin style tournament Scores averaged between the two provided scores Winning team gets 10 points Draw gets 5 points (although we have had NO draws this time round. Should a player not register a score, he will receive the average of ALL SCORES registered that week. This can mean good or bad scoring, so it's on you to play your rounds! I won't be adding any kind of stroke penalty as this is not fair to your partner. At the end of the tournament, highest score wins... Easy, straightforward! So, what do we need from you? 1. Suggestions on improvements 2. Suggestions of courses to play 3. Any other comments. 4. Someone to design a winners banner type thing for players to add to their signatures if they so wish. Have at it people, thank you all for your perseverance as I know Pandora is unlike most other tournaments, but that only adds to the charm  |

would it make more sense for a non-player to get the average score of either the strong or weak players, as appropriate. Sometimes it seemed when the weak player didn't play their rounds, their score was actually better.

In previous seasons giving a penalty kinda pushed people away |
