Here's my updated putting formula for this iteration of the game. It's 100% not for everyone and that's ok  . I've also released 2 separate Black Salt Valley videos which showcase me using my putting techniques.

Imagine having to sit there and calculate all of this on every putt, doesn't seem like much fun but I guess that is what it takes to compete on the higher tiers

I'm sure my brain is doing some computations I'm unaware of though! You can also check out the scores on True Sim where there are no grids so methods like this one cannot be used... I also imagine CSeanny does this mental math rather quickly, and I'm sure most could once they got the hang of it. But to each their own. |

When not recording it will take in the 20-45s range on most putts. 30-35m rounds is fine with me. My putting method is a tweaked version of my old WGT putting formula, so I've always putted this way. I haven't played TGCTs since PGA 2019, but regardless of the mode, it's how I putt. Every golf game I've played, as soon as I see the movement of the dots, my first reaction has always been to translate that movement into a raw %. It's the way my brain works. dansamp My method is actually strongest on TST o_^. dime5150 My OP already stated it's not for everyone. Besides, everyone uses math to play the game. I'm just using more of it to reach a higher accuracy for every shot involved. |

My putting has improved A LOT using this method. I'm holing putts that wouldn't have even scared the hole previously which is making the game a lot more fun. I completely get why it wouldn't be for everyone but if you feel like your reads could use some work I highly recommend learning this. If you have weaknesses in your reads it will show you where right away so you can correct it even if you don't use the actual method in your rounds. Thanks again Sean. I'm having a blast with this. And I know you have other gems like this to share. Don't be shy!
