Like the Idea behind this, After reading the thread so far and looking at the other thread posted I think I have an Idea of what's needed to have a go. Just let's get this right 3 double greens, Do the holes have to share fairways ? or can they be separated but running alongside each other ? Going to have a go. mattyfromcanada

mattyfromcanada I've laid out the 1st and 8th hole and I was wondering if this counts as "playing back up along each other." I originally made the first hole and then added more fairway to fit the 8th hole in. The black line is showing the two different ways two play Hole #1: 1. Playing down the normal first fairway with a bunker to contend with but a better angle into the green. 2. Playing down the "8th" fairway where the landing zone is larger but you have to contend with a greenside bunker on your approach. The red line is showing the two different ways to play Hole #8: 1. Play to the small bit of fairway short of the green for an easy pitch on. 2. Play to the "1st" fairway where you have a larger place to land the ball but are dealing with a sidehill approach and a green that runs away from you into some greenside bunkers. Does this settup work for the contest or do I need to move the holes closer to each so there are playing up and down each other? Thanks!

But if you shifted those tees to the other side of the green it would be better

Only been away a week and already there’s a new contest and a bunch of you who are already creating!!
NB. This is the longest I’ve been away from the designer since I seriously started building courses last October!
But come Sunday I’ll be irreversibly starting my reversible lay out!

Finally found some time to work on this granted I'm busy doing golf tournaments around the state.

I really like the sightline on the 200 yd Par 3 second hole. I tried to frame the green with bunkers which I thought turned out pretty well.
