Without revealing too much at this point I'd like to give you a little glimpse into what I am tentatively calling "Top of the World". The course is par 69 and has the following required elements at this point: At least three par 4s under 400 yards At least one driveable par 4 At least five par 3 holes Back to back par 3s At least one blind tee shot Total course yardage no greater than 6900 "Reach" "Ascension" "Angels"

Intriguing start here. What was your inspiration? My inspiration is from a thought I've had for a while... What happens to Inglewood Oil Field (in the middle of LA) when all the oil is gone? What if someone built a golf course on it? It sits high above the land around it and would make for some pretty incredible views and segmented hole designs that run up and down the cliffs. It's practically already "sculpted" for a course, so with some minor adjustments I am building a unique golf course at the "Top of the World." Here's a few pics:
