Well, that was surprisingly good! 🏴 Right?! Most exciting football we've played in years and I loved the high press. Have to say I wasn't sure on the selection (still not sold on Walker/Trippier), but he got the midfield spot on. Phillips and Mount were outstanding in particular. Fingers crossed he sticks with this approach. Hard luck today Celtic Wolf - heck of a second goal from them as well. Yep, you can guarantee Kyle Walker will put us under pressure with a bad pass at least 3 times a game! Phillips was majestic. |

It's a shame how we completely dominated Spain over 90 minutes, barely letting them have the ball, but didn't manage to get the ball behind their goalie who stood on his head and saved them from a humiliating defeat.

Well, that was surprisingly good! 🏴 I thoroughly enjoyed how England played for the first 20 minutes of the first half and when they did press they made things happen! How sustainable is that through out this tourney? They have 5 subs per match so using them to keep fresh legs on the pitch is a must. |

Big game for Scotland today, we played them twice last year and won both so a repeat of that would be excellent. Tough match to lose with so many opportunities where there to be had and no one could finish! I think they had quality chances and had the run of play. Can't take anything away from that second goal! Amazing! I think that was 3 points they could've had and now it looks uphill with England next, then Croatia. |

Germany look like a team that is relying on older players. Not the way to go. They were my tips at the start as they usually turn up for big tournaments. Cannot see them being in the last 8 unless something changes.

I will still root for them but they need to pick it up! Congrats Wales! What a great result! And now have a real shot at advancing! I am an underdog fan during big tourneys like this! |

I have just had one of the players drop out from our Pixel Golf Football League based on the Challenge Circuit rounds each week. Ideally it would be someone who plays at this level but if you are interested drop me a message.

A good battling performance by Scotland there for the draw will restore some pride and hope after the Czech Republic match. We could've snatched a win as well but I'm happy it's in our own hands and all 4 teams have something to play for in the last match.
I'll always be wary of getting too hopeful because I've seen how this can play out many times.
