I have “broken ground” on my entry for the 2021 CC Design contest. My goal for this course is to create a course set in New Zealand that takes inspiration from courses other than Tara Iti or Cape Kidnappers. Thought I’d post a few inspiration pics:

will post pics of the actual course as soon as I have something worth posting 😁.

So. Been a long time since I’ve posted anything here but I’ve quietly been plugging away and have only 9 holes left to plant between now and the deadline. Abandoned the New Zealand idea and instead decided to do a Louisiana bayou themed course. Might post a few teaser pics soon!

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
