Took a break from the designer after publishing Holly Point and finally have some motivation to get started on my CC course. After 6 plots and ideas I think I'm pretty happy with the direction I'm going. Definitely feeding off the PGA with a low country setting on this course. My plan is to have 4 sets of tees with 2 for CC play and the other 2 for "majors".

Definitely feeling the Sawgrass/Harbour Town vibe now with the course. Lots of flat-bottom bunkers and retaining walls which translates to lots of detail work coming soon. Trying to get used to using much smaller land movements to create interest in the fairways, want to be flattish, but still interesting enough that you can't just bomb it off the tee. Currently have 9 holes laid out and surfaced.
Have settled on a few elements as well: - Driveable Par 4
- Two holes with zero bunkers (most likely to change though)
- Four green sites each within 200 yards of each other. Measure from inside edge of each green (i.e. closest point to the others).
- At least three par 4s under 400 yards
- At least one three shot par 5
- At least one template hole of your choice (please specify template used and provide a real world example!)
- At least two holes with a center-line hazard (tree, bunker, etc)
Once I get closer to publishing I'll settle on the 4 I want judged.
