Disappointing -5 in round 3, because it could have been better. At least I won't get any demo marks 😂

There's a glitch on this course (or at least there was when I played).
Approach on hole one went long left; there are rocks back left of the green but my ball went straight through the middle of them and down into the chasm beyond.
Impossible to get the ball back up (not least because the rocks are solid from this side) as the banks are so steep.
Reached shot limit so had to give up.

Ended my first round 1 in CC-G at the top of the leader board with a 62, unfortunately that was as good as it got for me. I still played great considering the ever changing tempo adjustments I'm making. I'm getting better at splash shots again and have finally figured out putting tempo better.
R1 - 62 R2 - 69 R3- 67 R4- 71
Ending my first CC-G tourney at -15 is a great momentum boost for me to head on vacation next week LOL. Hope to continue this in 2 weeks when I return.

I actually had something happen in my second round where my ball ended up apparently passing through a rock...Because my next shot at the ball placed on TOP of the rock, and I was able to hit there fine. Very strange, and unfortunately bound to happen with all these rocks located near the playing area.

Very strange, and unfortunately bound to happen with all these rocks located near the playing area. That sucks. I hit a tee shot left on 11 that barely stayed out of the water, but rattled around the rocks, and came to stop in a lie that was described as "water", 98-100% lie penalty (so like fairway). The render had rocks all around me, including above (probably technically behind, because it disappeared when I rotated my aim 45 degrees), so it looked like I was hitting out of a window. I was not able to see my lie, so I rotated to where I hoped I would not drill another rock and blasted an iron that fortunately ended out near the green. Some of the steep hills give even your lofted clubs a chance unless you can go further down the hill. I had a similar situation tooling around in the Promotion Event.... had to backwards to go forward. Also got plugged between the railroad ties along the water in one of the TPC (Louisiana) events and had to pick up and start my career over.

If that was a Par 3, I forget which hole, I also noclipped through those rocks at the back-left, but fortunately, was able to noclip back the other direction.

Enough with the dawn/overcast conditions, please! If it's dawn or overcast... than that's what the designer has set as default... nothing I can do about that

Think I missed about 20 birdie putts between 7 and 20 feet in the first 2 rounds. All right over the edge. Made, like, 3.

Was impossible to escape from the bottom of the hill as the slope was so steep and the rough so thick. I could have gone backwards in order to go forwards but by then it was too late. Was hovering on the cut line anyway so decided to cut my losses and will try again next week!

Ugh... brutal finish. Was cruising to -11/-12 (despite playing into trouble on 11 3 out of 4 rounds) and dropped an absolute cherry of a pitch from 70 yards to 2'... thinking closing birdie eagle... and 3 putt from 2'. Scores were consistently bad on 9/10/11, but great from there home. Probably played my best round ever in the Open Qualifying event in the interim.
Going out of town this weekend, so I might not have a CC primer up until Monday night.

Finished Rd 4. Enjoyed playing in the sun light for a chance. So that's what the course looks like...lol. First 3 rounds I needed a miner's helmet with lantern to guide the way.
