I am designing on a ps4 and i am running into an issue when i use certain grasses. After i plant them if i zoom out they disappear. it also happens when i play test the hole. can anyone assist me in how to fix this or why it is happening. it does not happen with all grasses but it is the majority of them.

First off you would be better off posting this in the Design Forums further down the page, it will get more attention there. But to answer your question, the reason grasses and other small plants "disappear" as you get further away is due to what is called "draw distance". I order to maintain frame rates the game will choose not to show those things as you get further away from them - if it had to draw all the grasses you plant the graphics would grind to a halt. |

As you have found, some grasses have a longer draw distance than others, so I tend to use those if they fit the course. It may also depend on the platform you are using. |
