I'm sure, like me, a lot of the designers would like to know whether a course they have submitted has been deemed "tour worthy" after it being approved.
This could be done as part of the email which is sent out or with a simple "TW" in the status column after the approved indication?
If we knew a course was approved but not deemed tour worthy it would remove all the frustrations of thinking it's been overlooked again.

Yup! This would be cool. Or if they're approved to the course list but not considered tour-worthy than an ability to get feedback as to why would be nice, just like if it hadn't been approved at all.
I was under the impression that any approved course was in the running for tour selection

Something we can probably do. Like what was said in the previous thread, when we select courses, we try to look for excellent courses that fit the feel and look of the real life tournament first. We try to be as inclusive as possible, but some designers just have a larger stable of good courses to choose from. I know everyone would love to host a tournament but we can make any guarantees to when this happens. Just so you guys know, we DO NOT play favorites or consider our own courses over anyone else's.

Oh no doubt. I was never under the impression you did play favorites. The best courses should be selected and it makes sense that better designers would more consistently make better courses. I'm not upset about that at all. I was just wondering if on that same course listings page a box or two could be placed saying "Awaiting Further Review" and/or "Tour-worthy". That was we could know when a course has moved simply from approved to tour worthy or if it wasn't going to get such distinction.
I'm super thankful of your effort and I'm definitely not criticizing the system, I think it works. Just think the last but about approved submissions versus tour-worthy submissions could be further clarified

I agree that there should be an "awaiting review" option so that people don't think that their course is being avoided by the review team. I also think that the "tour worthy" filter would be a good idea to help give people an idea of the quality of course basis that they need to match to have their course be on a tour.

Totally understand Andre, Thanks for the insight.
