The swing path most certainly affects where the ball goes. I've missed plenty of targets by spraying the swing plane off line. It's a combination of timing and path, not one or the other.

The top Platinum and TST PS4 players calibrate wired to the L and R edges of Perfect. Want to hit Perfects like they do? Here is the quickest way:

Plugging it in without that means you are just playing via Bluetooth the same as not plugged in but can charge your controller.

Yep Then you might have clubs with forgiveness too low, alternatively you would need to calibrate again to adjust slightly.

This doesn't work for me with a DS4 on the PS5 for the reasons I brought up yesterday of the controller playing via Bluetooth and the PS5 hardware not allowing a DS4 CUH-ZCT1 series controller to play in USB mode. So was this being demonstrated from a PS4? I ask because a DS4 on PS4 will work as I had it like that before I had the PS5.

Wow. I’ve only played with one of my V1 DS4s since the start of this game. This only works via Bluetooth, and I haven’t calibrated since the first few days of the game.
I had bought a V2 DS4 at the end of TGC19 but the sticks were misaligned so just left it in the packaging. Pulled it out to see what the fuss was about. This feels like cheating. Even with the crappy sticks causing the occasional weird line - if I had a combo of my V1 sticks with USB connection this would be silly.
