Just played this course and just saw I absolutely loved it. The opening stretch is incredible and bold with Short 3, reachable 5, and drivable 4. Loved the big rock as a hazard on 3 for errant shots, what a cool idea. Made a total mess of that hole pitching up to the top of the rock after missing right then hopping over green.
4 was an absolute ball buster into the wind but makes sense with how easy the first 3 holes were. Loved the options on the second shot on 6 with rocks definitely in play providing a lot of randomness (good thing). Helping slopes on 7 we’re phenomenally done on a green that looks a lot scarier from the tee than it played. 8 is a pretty scary tee shot, tried to use 3 wood to get near water to have better angle into the green albeit. 4 putted here after some horrible timing lol. Clubhouse looked very Russian, not sure I’d want to spend time on those pools haha. 10 is another great par 3, nice little reran-esq hole. Missed in the worst possible spot on 11 and doubled once again (theme for the round) Once again on 14 in the fairway bunker. This bunker seemed a little penal but I hit a bad shot to end up there lol.
Overall I loved the course despite a miserable +8 finish with 3 doubles and a triple lol. Great work man, I really enjoyed the environment and the course kept me thinking with a great final impression
