I was telling Jason last night I actually won an event competing against everyone in CC-B I think. Made it as high as the Euro Tour but this seems like a lifetime ago now. The disparity has grown wider and wider over the last few releases that its just not worth it to me to play competitively on tours anymore, especially now. I am happy playing in the three society events each week and playing with the guys on Friday nights.

ASSMAN’S HOT TAKE Week 2 Review
If you feel something leaking down your leg and think it’s diarrhea it’s probably just my golf game, but these reviews remain solid! Week 2 in the books fellas. Another week, another update, and another bottle down. My golf game looks an awful lot like the crypto market right now. Just a whole lot of piss and sh%$. But maybe next week will be different. I switched to the most forgiving clubs (I’m a lady so don’t laugh when you see my 200 yard drives) and went under par in my first round with them. Hoping for my game to rise as the stock market does (hoping praying drinking).
There seems to be a split in talent with this society. The top 4 and the bottom 4. After week 2 if you fall into the top 4 you’ve probably made a deal with the devil to play this well or you’re just actually good at this game unlike myself. Good on ya. Gonna do my thing with stats that stand out next. Still no aces or albys this week. Not that it gives you a bonus, but still nice to share with the boys if ya hit one.
Alan (aradmcc) team hoping for help, led the field this week. Longest scoring shot (105 yards) 2nd in FIR (86%) 1st in scrambling (100% - that’s 0 bogeys or worse boys) 2 eagles, 13 birdies, 0 bogeys, and a partridge in a pear tree. This team is just on fire to start this race to 2K. They are burning gas, making passes, and taking no prisoners.
Long drive this week was my boy Flack with a 362.9 yard bomb (really reached back for that one) longest putt was your lady herself with a 59.9 ft bomb (my only flex) Moneyman led the field in fairways (89%) while Laby led in greens (72%)
For the top 4 teams thus far good luck on your continued success. The game has gotten incredibly hard for some and your play is fueling this league. For the bottom 4 teams I feel your pain. Make some changes. We as Xbox players adjust with the best, and I’m telling you when I gave up on my distance my forgiveness saved my game. It’s like the man up above came down and said it’s okay you a##!0#l just keep whacking and it will find the hole eventually.

I am back off the edge. Figured I was swinging for perfect anyway, so just continued. Takes a little more concentration, but can be done. I have rounds in double +, but have also scored under, so I am optimistic that after a few weeks we'll be back on track. #TeamXBox - keep fighting! Nice...was trying to chase you down rd 1. Good to see man! I gave it back round 2, LOL |

I'm proud of the optimism guys! While we will all improve though, competing with the other consoles is dead in the current form of the game. But that's fine though, we have our societies and we can continue to shoot better under the new parameters. Honestly though Dan, tell me when we were truly and fairly ever competing with the other consoles. The bottom line for me is I can only control what I do. So I’ll try to beat the course. Can honestly say that the Red Fast meta was the closest this game has ever been to being equal across all systems. It was never about being "easier to hit" fast but the better controlled misses, and that was even across all systems. Fast was the same no matter where you polled in the Fast zone, and same with Very fast. So if you hit fast, great. Very fast had a 5 yard miss left with a bit more distance on irons and less on DR and 3W. Perfect missed 10 yards right and a bit less distance on irons and more on Dr and 3W. Slow was almost never hit. All of those results described above mattered very little where your actual polling points were and felt like It was the same across all systems. People just didn't like it because the ball hooked, but if that same miss spread and variance in polling points was to be implemented to be a perfect, fast and a slow, then I think we could be in business. One other thing that I've seen a bit is people saying things like "But your scores are still good!" etc etc... I really couldn't care less what number my score is. I want to play well and when I don't play well I want to know WHY I didn't and HOW I can improve. At this point in the game missing my tempo I have no means to correct myself. Just boom or bust. Make or break. It ain't golf, and it ain't enjoyable. I'm gonna try and step back from this conversation (something I'm really good at  ) though cus frankly I'm sick of it. I'm on my last straw with this game. I simply don't enjoy playing it at all. Probably close to 16 rounds played over the weekend and the most enjoyment I got was pressing "quit game". Quite literally the only thing that's keeping me even close to staying is how much I enjoy playing with all of y'all. I'll do my best to keep playing the Race 2K, Band of Brothers and Swing and Miss events but if I miss any I do apologize. Sick of wasting energy on this game. |

Well 9 birdies in the first round, but finished +1. Got to get rid of the bogies. LOL. Started out -5 thru 10 and was feeling pretty good, then the wheels feel off.

I agree, I only play the tour rounds for Pixel Golf Society now, not bothered about what CC-Tour I'm in as it has become irrelevant |

I was... As wierd as it sounds... Happy with my +9, was hitting the ball OK, buts a matter of now playing the game like a real golfer would i.e. if I drive it into the rough (many occasions) I might have to hit it short to a full club due to the inconsistencies of the short game and bite the bullet and take a par / bogey

Keep in mind, a par 4 hole, after the drive, becomes a par 3 hole. I find it better to hit to my comfortable approach distance rather than trying to bomb every drive. I'd rather have a 127 yard approach, than an 81 yard approach. But that's me. |
