Yes. It is ONE week. One dam week. Round 1: Off to the races, clean round until hole 17 and rhino4life says "bogey free round so far Jason?". I promptly bogey. -7. It did feel good Giraffe72 . Your recommendation of longer irons seems to have helped me with birdie opportunities. (Don't think I have a hybrid in the bag anymore). I was getting my gray slows off the tee, which is "my" closest perfect off the tee. Kept the approach shots at acceptable distances for birdie opportunities or relatively manageable pars. Made some great par saves too as my putter was working well for the most part. Splash shot working for me but utilizing that splash on LEVEL surface. If I'm far below the hole, I'm going guarantee that at minimum, I overshoot the pin as I'm sure a red fast will nerf it. Using more pitch shots with my 10-15 yarders, less chance of a duff. Round 2: I said to Dave last night, "want to play round 2 as well?" which I haven't said those words in months (barely can stand one round per night, let alone two). EXPECTING a round 2 meltdown play wise, I actually held up well. 2 bogeys but carded a -5. Total score -12. It was an enjoyable experience. Took a few acceptable risks that ended up rewarding me (going for the green on a short par 4 which I landed on one round and was right off the green on the other; eagle in round 1 and birdie in round 2). Many people are scoring well. This is good news. THIS is what I'm talking about regarding having "some" success out there. Disclaimer: I may, or may not, have fibbed about the part where Dave jinxed me on hole 17. For the record....i said this after you nancy'd your par putt.

This friggin' game.... I was seriously considering quitting or at least taking an extended break after I had some BRUTAL rounds (for my standards) on Monday that look to be leaving me with 2 demos on Plat and a missed cut on True Sim. Had a bit of downtime today though so I thought why not, I'll fire it up and bang out a couple rounds. Hop in with no warm-up and not even a practice swing on the first tee, and of course I go -13 and -13 for -26 total in BoB this week... 100% GIR in R1, and only 1 missed green in R2.
So I went from Monday, where I was literally spraying all over the tempo spectrum (we're talking multiple very fasts, many red fasts and red slows) to today where all of a sudden it felt like I could hardly miss a perfect... My -26 could've been a few strokes better for sure - I missed <10ft birdie putts on holes 1 and 2 in R1, and burned so many edges on eagle putts on the Par 5s. I just don't understand what goes on with this game.
Side note, they may have made the forgiveness boxes slightly bigger for certain (or all clubs) on Master (or I'm going crazy)? For the first time today I could hit a grey fast, a perfect, and a grey slow with my forgiving irons/wedges (before it was grey fast/perfect with a red slow miss). I only actually hit one grey slow in these rounds on an actual shot, but noticed a bunch of them on practice swings. Wonder if this continues...

As we've all learned now, at times the game functions poorly. Remember last week i had 2 wait 2 mins between shots. And now today after carding a -3 my hdcp shoots from +17 to +48. BTW good playing!

Almost like they tinkered with the swing again

Or YOU function poorly. Its not all on the game. My rounds last night I had several grey fasts, a few grey slows....but i was not overly consistent in the second round. I dont think my brain could tolerate two rounds in a row since its been months since that happened.

Definitely something going on behind the scenes recently. At certain times over the last few days I haven't been able to hit a perfect for rounds at a time (even when taking honest to god about 100 practice swings) and got completely different polling points than I normally get, literally very fast or red slow with nothing in between . Then played a round just now and didn't get a single red anything, just perfects and greys.

I'm in the "I function poorly" camp. When I see the same guys shoot well week after week using the same tools that I use I can only blame my internal tempo clock for my woes.

I rarely play more than 1 rd per day lately so if I struggle it's probably lack of play causing it. Still enjoy the game, but I am more commited to fitness these days. What was gaming time is now exercise time. Really, my goal is to get to 100 miles in a week on my road bike. Almost there. 90 next week and 100 the week after. I've gone from 0 hours of exercise per week in May to 9 hours now. Not bad 4 a 54 year old geezer. Come October I'll ease back a bit and see if I can get back to competing in the video golf world.

I had 18 birdies and 1 eagle all in all….still like pro more Can't you just be a master pro? would that work ? Thats what i do isnt it I cant say it feels better to shoot low on master cause a perfect is a perfect some parts of the game is broken on master thats it…..if you wanna change the shots you played over the years fine but i dont….when i hit the ball where i want i can hit the shot that i want when it works i go low
