-10 and -6 for me for a -16 total.
Really nice course again Rhino. Definitely gettable but some tricky pin positions on round two meant you could leave yourself with a tough two putt pretty often. Happy enough with my score and keen to see what wins in the end.
I had a great battle with HorusPhoenix's ghost on Round 2. Well played man, I just edged you overall but you pipped me on that round.

WEEK 1 SEASON 2 IS COMPLETED BAND OF BROTHERS
Congrats on this weeks winners... Alpha - pistolpete -18 Bravo - bmells33 -10 Whiskey - LabyrinthOvlord -11 Pro - Nicholas254 -11 Fun little course, solid turnout. Scoring was not what I expected given the distance but I would assume several people got bit by the water on occasion. It got me in the second round with authority. Next week is Sattler Head - Blue course. Another awesome design by Heisenberg which actually has a Blue and Black course on the same plot. Pro Clubbers will hit the links on the Black version this week. Best of luck boys. Woohoo! I won my first event ever in a society.

BoB Week 2
Played some solid golf tonight for the most part. Finished the event -6 which is a new world record for me. Tempo was pretty solid in the first round for the most part. My three bogies were primarily putting related. Two of these were three putts. Round two the tempo was hit and miss. Had a real tendency for red slows and some of my good tempos were grey fasts which left me putts longer than I really needed. Pretty happy with the results in all. 12 birds, 18 pars, 6 bogies which minus some miscues could of got me in the top half of the board. Hopefully I can carry some of this mojo into the Major. Seems like alot of people have put up some decent rounds which is always nice to see. Good luck this week ladies.

Hi lovely course to play that one and yepeee my first bogey free rd in band of brothers , nice playing this morning as last couple of days the tempo seemed strange , I'm not technically minded but could of been servers in England or the courses had to much detail on them to make them go glitchy and laggy , hopefully I can produce another under par rd which would give me some confidence as I'm really struggling with reading the grids but with time and practice I'll hopefully start sinking a few long putts , looking forward to the 2nd rd . 😀

Week 2, in at -11 (-6, -5) - had fun chasing down LabyrinthOvlord - just like old times! Glad to see you back! Started round 1 with a birdie, then followed by bogey and a double.. didn't let it get to me and finished the front at -1, then 1 bogey back side with 4 birds and an eagle on the short par 4 to finish with the -6. Round 2 had only a few bogies and in at -5. The backside round 2 wasn't as friendly to me but I'll take it.. rhino4life - quality course selection. Very fun and conditions just about right IMO. Good luck to fellow Whiskey's and to the A/B gang as well who haven't played the rounds yet!

I just couldn't quite get going on this one. Started over par in both rounds and apart from a nice little flurry on the front nine in the first round I failed to string birdies together. Putter was stone cold which didn't help. Finally made a nice pair of birdies on the last two holes, but too little too late. -5 and -2 Lovely course again, this society is the best! Great shooting from OldManGaming606, looks like I'll be chasing again. And moneyman273, you can't tell me you didn't get satisfaction from shooting your scores? Beats shooting -12's on Pro any day, nicely done

Struggling with connection issues got my tempo all messed up and a lot of birdieputts burning edges as well. Oh well, seems like another week in nomansland for me with -2 in R1. I've seen some good scores on the board, great shooting, lads!

Leaderboard is far too negative. I’m going to need a lot more positivity out of you all.

Yes. It is ONE week. One dam week. Round 1: Off to the races, clean round until hole 17 and rhino4life says "bogey free round so far Jason?". I promptly bogey. -7. It did feel good Giraffe72 . Your recommendation of longer irons seems to have helped me with birdie opportunities. (Don't think I have a hybrid in the bag anymore). I was getting my gray slows off the tee, which is "my" closest perfect off the tee. Kept the approach shots at acceptable distances for birdie opportunities or relatively manageable pars. Made some great par saves too as my putter was working well for the most part. Splash shot working for me but utilizing that splash on LEVEL surface. If I'm far below the hole, I'm going guarantee that at minimum, I overshoot the pin as I'm sure a red fast will nerf it. Using more pitch shots with my 10-15 yarders, less chance of a duff. Round 2: I said to Dave last night, "want to play round 2 as well?" which I haven't said those words in months (barely can stand one round per night, let alone two). EXPECTING a round 2 meltdown play wise, I actually held up well. 2 bogeys but carded a -5. Total score -12. It was an enjoyable experience. Took a few acceptable risks that ended up rewarding me (going for the green on a short par 4 which I landed on one round and was right off the green on the other; eagle in round 1 and birdie in round 2). Many people are scoring well. This is good news. THIS is what I'm talking about regarding having "some" success out there. Disclaimer: I may, or may not, have fibbed about the part where Dave jinxed me on hole 17.
