Just taking advantage of the lull, the gap in the tours and the bank holiday weekend to quickly plug Simulation Tour again if anyone fancies trying it out between seasons on TGCT 👍 What happened to your Twitch Craig? Been missing having you around there...and with Starfield around the corner, you better be on there again as i really want to watch you play it. I watched one of my golf VoDs back and it just felt like the magic was gone. Thought I sounded really bored and was just rushing shots and going through the motions. Then trying to push simulation tour on there it's a losing battle and when I played TGC settings I just moaned about them and did my own head in 🤣 same reason I've dialled back trying to push for more difficult settings on here. If I'm boring myself I'm sure I'm boring everyone else! I miss watching you guys and Siso and Golnor though. I just know if I have it up I'll go live and it'll be the same sh%$ all over again. It was genuinely starting to do my head in a bit. Might make a new account and just play other stuff on it and not go near the golf. Starfield, Forza etc.

asyoudo64 lessangster longpole Demonondalinks just read your discussion on the Old Head Links. I got the opportunity to actually play the course ( on a corporate gig ) 2 months ago. (I'm a 9/10 handicapper). It is without doubt the most spectacular course I have ever played. The views were simply incredible. Many of the tees and greens were literally on the edge of the cliffs. On the par 5 12th hole I had to aim 20 yards out over the sea into the left to right crosswind to land on the middle of the fairway. I absolutely smashed it and only had about 180 yards to the green. The green however was very narrow with trouble either side so I chickened out and laid up with a 7 iron. To lay up I had to hit the ball out over the sea again and I still ended up in the right rough with the wind! Its expensive ( as evidenced by many arriving by helicopters, not something we see often in Ireland and I've played all the top courses !) but for a once in lifetime it is a fantastic experience.

Oh I bet it’s a once in a lifetime experience, unfortunately I’m to old for that sort of golf now but would have loved it in my prime. My best golf experience would be three rounds in a day round Royal Lytham & St. Annes, I was in my 20’s a beautiful sunny midsummers day started at 7am on the first tee and finished my third round playing with a young Aussie Pro who had just missed qualifying for the open at St Andrews that year, we came of the course around about 9:30 pm. A wonderful days golf that I will never forget. It’s not got the views of Old Head so I don’t think you will forget that experience either.

Someone told me you play your rounds using the female character is that right if so is there any particular reason why. I’ve started using her because her iron swing feels better for me. First and foremost: eyecandy! I started to play with a female character in 2k21 and liked it, the putting was terrible though. Now that there are next to no differences to the male character, i went for it and haven't looked back. Only downside is the apparel; there are quite a few nice clothes in the shop which are male only. Apart from that, i just like the looks and the swing. Feels smoother and you don't feel as weird staring at your player the whole time like a creep. Because, you know, i'm a simple man, i see female curves, i stare... But to be perfectly honest, the original thought was to pay tribute to my number one high school crush - hence why i called her Jenny. Feels like such a letdown as explanation

Feels like such a letdown as explanation It’s not a let down at all I get you like the female form I do as well but I’m 69 years old it doesn’t have the same affect on me it once did 😂 On a golf point of view looking at the swings side by side the males iron swing is more of a three quarter swing just a bit longer than Jon Rahm’s and I struggle with the timing as it just looks to short to my eye and I feel rushed doing it and that’s affected my accuracy. The female iron swing she almost goes parallel with the ground at the top so it’s a little longer and it feels I’ve got a little more time to complete it. I really need to put a stop watch on both swings to see if it’s not just in my head. Looking at my stats in the two four round tournaments I’ve played my proximity to the pin is a lot closer than it was with the male player so that seems to prove my point, I just need to compare a few of my previous rounds. I don’t struggle with accuracy off the tee or with a wood but both male and female swings look alike. Edit: mines called Lilly which was my mums name and she’s a redhead 👩🦰 like my mum who by the way won more trophies than either me or my dad. 🤣

Just want to plug my society The Big Money. Master with grids. Mostly 1 rd and ocassional 2 rd majors. 1 rd with 2 days to play. No pressure to play every tourney. You'll recognize most players. It's private but I check daily for new entrants.

TAFF / TAFFMAN -21 BSASTARD / RHMIII -30 +0.40 (W)CHINATOWN / PAULM 0 F57 / RED RHINO -29 +9.33 (W)RONRUN / GIZ -30 (W)FREEBIRD/ BERTY44 -12 +0.93 Within ranks the dogs went 10-8 during the first two weeks.Looks like most people navigated the green variations this week with some success. And played with fully charged pads. I played fairly well both rounds and was not caught up the greens. Few errant shots cost me some strokes but overall played well and found some good fortune putting from off the green and a few generous bounces. Few shockers score-wise out there that I don't quite understand however it may of been a bad week....or a good one. If you came out of the first two weeks at 2-0 or 1-1 you done well. If you are sitting on a goose egg you will have some ground to make up. This week is Clachmara by richnufc99 who is always solid with the publishes. I really enjoy solid links courses and I love, love, love everything about this course. While I am not a fan of the foggy, dim lighting track I thought this default setting was really fitting for the environment. Going to play the bog boy tees both days with some slower green speeds. I am not quite sure why I didn't ratchet up some wind gusts this week in looking at the settings. Consider it a gift from me to you all in exchange for some hellish conditions down the road. This week matchups are outside your groups so spreads to cover will be higher than normal. Week 3 matchups are as follows:CHALKEY / STUNNING SMIJTI / JORDAN +7.09 OWEN / COZY2000 ASYOUDO / MDH +12.35 HORUS / LONGPOLE LAB / NICHOLAS +6.27 BMELLS / ORANGE TAFF / TAFFMAN +14.09 DOUBTFUL / VEGAS CHINATOWN / PAULM +13.54 BENNY / ARH SEMSI BSASTARD / RHMIII +12.23 DEMON / BIGBLUESTU RONRUN / GIZ +5.77 RHINO /MONEYMAN FREEBIRD / BERTY44 +3.94 CHIEF / XEB50X F57 / RED RHINO +8.96 Good luck lads....
