My last week in a Nutshell. My mom was cleared on Friday to go back to her assisted living home, she has been in Physical therapy for 2.5 weeks.. Was almost on my way there to take her home. Notified she had fallen minutes later. Taken to hospital. Ugh. Notified yesterday her assisted living facility won't take her back now,. We must find a nursing home for her. Social services has hooked us up with a medicaid employee tomorrow which will cover everything if she qualifies. (she should) So yesterday my mom had a visitor. Somehow this visitor whom I am not sure who it was encouraged my mom to stand up. Which she can't. She fell and face planted. Back to the hospital. Broken nose. WTF. My life the last 3 months has been miserable.
Sorry for the rant.
Hoping for just a few good weeks after we get her into a Nursing Home.

My dad last week went to the long term care facility to feed my step-mom and she had covid. Nobody told him. Then he got covid. She looked awful but has since tested negative as well as my dad. Little rough patch for you but things hopefully will turn around for you. |

Any of you men seen the Docoseries on Netflix Untold Swamp Kings? Looks interesting 🤔. On my watch list for this weekend. That program will never as great and the Miami Hurricanes back in the day. If you never watched The U and The U part 2 on ESPN 30 for 30.....must see. Makes the Florida Gators look like choir boys. |

Hits close to home with me as i'm in a similar situation right now. My mum has Dementia and it's getting worse by the week; it all started on my birthday 2016 in December on one of the coldest days of the year with temperatures down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit max - she felt the need to buy me a gift and had a terrible fall on her way. Ambulance took her to the nearest hospital, which is about 15 miles from here and the personnel let her go without even checking her for a concussion. What happened afterwards? Nobody knows because she obviously forgot all about it, maybe the memory is too sinister. Anyhow, she was found halfway frozen to death the next morning. That's when she started to severely decline and it's an everyday struggle keeping her safe and sound, avoiding dangerous behavior. It's been the focus of my life for the last 5 years to protect her and us from any harm, because she's not capable of picking rational decisions anymore. A nursing home would be a better and safer place for her as i'm completely overwhelmed with my task. Therefore we need to get support of our health care system, otherwise the expenses would leave us bankrupt - and it is a lengthy, mentally draining process to cut through bureaucratic ties. Long story short: i feel your pain, Todd. It's the toughest thing to see a loved one not being well when you feel there's not a whole lot you can do about it; it's heartbreaking. Hang in there and hopefully better days are soon to come. All the best wishes to you and yours buddy. |

2 out of the last 3 weeks I've finished over par in BOB because my controller batteries have run out. I have the wired Razer Wolverine 2 controller, a great option. Also, a plug n play charger can prevent your issue. |

Someone told me you play your rounds using the female character is that right if so is there any particular reason why. I’ve started using her because her iron swing feels better for me. |
