Underdogs has a great week with a 9-3 record....
Fun course this week? Sure it was. Things looked pretty bad after my first round with some solid golf for the most except for three holes which were just STB moments, especially the 5-putt 18th. With Jason putting up a solid score for the event the pressure was back on me again to redeem myself if I just played round 2 the same with the implosions. Playing ultra conservative in order to not give away strokes i was not cashing in birdies as quickly as I had hoped however a solid 6-under on the back half including a few massive distance putts and a ship in save sealed the deal. Funny that this was against owenayy again. Sorry man... The Gurnley Gruff by Australian is where we conclude the intra-division matchups this season before heading back to divisional play. Solid course with some pain points on a few holes. Scoring should be there with some smart play and a hot putter though. Conditions fairly mild depending on the default winds I left in there for round two. Matchups for teams this week: - some really good teams squaring off. Seriously, choking in USA is like when the Yankees blew a 3 games to zero lead in American league Championship Series and lost to Red Sox. It's still an accomplishment just to get in the Tourney. |
