I admire the guys who are sticking it out with stock controller. Especially the ones who are in upper CC and pro. Since getting the Razer my scores have dropped a good deal. It's reinterested me to go back to tours and barring a complete collapse I should make Kinetic this week. I am still prone to stupid errors in judgement on courses as the Razer is not automatic. And I continue to have brain farts on greens which hurt. But when you get locked in you can compete with the best. We can all admit we've been getting screwed on tours for 5 years now and it's about time we are on equal ground. Love all the guys in BoB no matter their opinion on this matter. Because of the 493rd HB/2K screwup, disabling shot feedback no longer works, even if you have it turned off. (Yes, everyone knows this). If I could have this disabled and not see that my swing line looks like my son's scribbling when he was 3 years old, I may have given the Wolverine more of a shot. But the BIGGEST problem for me is that on the Wolverine (I'm a left swing stick left thumb guy), the downswing never registers for me and I've tried all sorts of different angles. The only way I get a fluid back and forth (once in a while it misses) is if I use the two thumb method, and it just feels awful. With my original controller, I can register that down swing much better than the Wolverine. I have no idea why. Part of me wishes to return the controller as I feel I'll never use it. The other part of me feels I may just keep it and use it again in the event my Old Hoss controller truly falls apart. I'm the same as you (and Subtle Bees by the sound of it), left stick left thumb. Always played golf games like that. Your lack of downswing is a timing issue. I get it from time to time. You can definitely work through that but you'll have to change the cadence of your swing. Swing line is another matter altogether, it is much harder than the stock controller. Swing plane fittings help, apart from that it's the number one thing I have to concentrate on and I still miss it fairly often. But as we all know, tempo is king in this game. I can perfectly accept missing a green because I've pushed of pulled it because I know that's exactly what I did! That black slow/fast not so much, but that's no longer a factor. I'm loving everyone's success as much as I am my own. With Horus and Subtle making the switch and Chalkey already competing I predict a Platinum winner in the near future. Wouldn't that be something? Some of us have stuck with these Tours through all the pain and lop sided competition of the last 5 years, because TGCTours is a special place and worth the effort of supporting. I dropped down 6 tiers in one go at one point, Platinum to CCD! This feels like redemption and I'm loving every minute. Go get 'em Xbox 😎 |

If we are ever online at the same time I can maybe help you but again if you are over trying to make it work its all good as well. Trust me, I'd like the help. I would bet on your old controller you probably have a dead zone as wide as Maude's snatch. Which is why you don't like that squiggly line on your feedback with the Razer. But to each his own with this. |

I wasn't joking the other day when I feel that as it is right now, my personal swing (left thumb left stick) is broken and the only controller that seems to work is Old Hoss, which buttmunch Demonondalinks made a reference to Maudes hoochie being as wide as the supposed dead zone he believes my controller has. I'm just clueless. Side note: Maude does her kegel exercises. I expect her to do these. Keeps our relationship fresh. |

I went from -4 round one to +8 and last place after round two. The high winds did not bother me, it's that I'm one of those players who putts on the edge of the hole and expects the ball to spin in. I got 192 green speed also. Putt roll boost increases your green speed?

There must of been some unpredictable strong swells rolling into town.  The greens should be 186 for everyone unless you got something goofy going on. Everyone was provided a disclaimer to buckle your chin straps the first three weeks. Full disclosure I waited to to see what scores came through on week 1 before committing to the settings this week. Once I seen the overwhelming success, I felt you guys deserved something really special this week. I haven't started this yet but I have played it through 3-4 times so I know what I am getting into. "Chef's kiss" on that second round wind direction. I actually had another beauty scheduled for next week I but I did pull it for something a little more "mild".....for now. |

I went and reset my skill points so I get putt path boost only and not one of three boosts randomly. I bought the Wolverine controller once and I returned it because for me it was worse than the stock controller.

How have you got 192 greens.. I only have 186, you need to look at your points and see if any increase green speed There's SOMETHING on my fittings or skill points that has always made my green speeds a smidge higher than everyone else. What it is, I have zero clue. It'll be in your skills. |
