I admire the guys who are sticking it out with stock controller. Especially the ones who are in upper CC and pro.
Since getting the Razer my scores have dropped a good deal. It's reinterested me to go back to tours and barring a complete collapse I should make Kinetic this week.
I am still prone to stupid errors in judgement on courses as the Razer is not automatic. And I continue to have brain farts on greens which hurt. But when you get locked in you can compete with the best.
We can all admit we've been getting screwed on tours for 5 years now and it's about time we are on equal ground.
Love all the guys in BoB no matter their opinion on this matter.

I'll keep playing with my stock controller, I know I won't be as consistent, but I know I can score every now and then... Currently T-9 in Elite, next week probably a MC, and so on. I don't even want to be in plat just to complain about the very difficult conditions 😂 I'm with you xcltaff1980 #TeamNoShamber It’s like we are still playing with the old wooden clubs in the 70s and these guys are all hitting the new ping irons 😢 I don’t mind, I like the challenge of trying to keep up with you all on my “lesser” controller

Well I sold my soul to the devil in exchange for the Wolverine a few days ago, thought it was a fair deal until I had a 4 putt from about 8 foot in the BoB rounds today. Safe to say a lot of work needed in that department. It was too difficult to resist watching the absolute charge of everyone in here killing it up in TGC with wins right left & centre, then all the promotions this week. (Great job to everyone by the way for that, love to see xbox finally getting some notice) Those extra polling points though, thought I'd never see the day us xboxers would have the ability to get anything other than the usual good, pretty sh%$ or very sh%$. I will miss the days of using the usual excuse, "well if I had more polling points, I wouldn't always get my ass kicked by playstation folk." For those still playing on the normal xbox controllers, I'm sorry I've deserted you. You could always.... I will for here on out refer to everyone using a wolverine as Sith. So that makes me a Jedi. Suck it

I'll say this...
At the end of the day is a personal choice to either continue using whatever stock pad you have been using or go in another direction. People who made the switch either made the switch to compete at a higher level or just wanted to enjoy the game again. For those who remain reluctant to move its out of pride, personal, or maybe financial. It's all okay. Whatever side you may be on doesn't make you or your decision better than someone else's.
For the first time in in forever this is some really exciting times for this console in tours. There is absolutely zero need for people to push others to get on board. There is plenty of information, trials and tribulations, and personal success stories out there for people to read up on. On the other side, its just a ridiculous for people to go out of their way to directly or indirectly bash folks who made a switch and are finding some excitement involving this game because the the hill we all were once standing on is getting smaller. As a society we should be rooting for everyone playing well in whatever various events being participated in.

Nor this week’s -61 in CC. The polling points are insane—is this what it’s like on other platforms? Been watching some of Just Jordans streams and yeah it's pretty much the same as on PlayStation from what I've seen. Will be keen to see how you guys get on with it!

Couldn't agree more, the majority of us I feel are in the 'bought the pad to enjoy the game more' camp... I'm still putting crap irrespective of what pad I'm using, but I am definitely enjoying the game more being more consistent in getting from tee to green

When you're due a new controller you'll buy one. I get not getting one while you've got a new one already but when that one is dead, it's time for the Wolverine! I'll never buy one!!! My controller is 6 month old. My last controller was 4years old.. its getting like a broken record hearing about it. Wooo everyone is better. Am fine with mine. If I wasnt thundertaffing every putt my scores would be 10x better too!! Oh cool. Broken record huh? Well here's another comment. I'm 100% fine with anyone who chooses to try something different and I'm not complaining about it one bit. I'm thrilled this has helped a lot of our community. That being said, the controller hasn't worked for me. Quite the opposite. Yes xEB50x I've given it all the time I need in order to figure it out and I simply can't. The only way my downswing works/registers is if I do the two thumb method and it feels 100% inauthentic. My biggest problem is if I continue with something I don't like (the new controller), I'll never play this game again. And I'm not giving you folks the satisfaction of me leaving anywhere LOL. So, back to the tried and true Old Hoss (my 8 year old original controller with scotch tape on the bumpers) and I fire a -14 in round 2 of BoB last week. To each their own and I celebrate EVERYONE who has had more enjoyment with this Wolverine controller.

We can all admit we've been getting screwed on tours for 5 years now and it's about time we are on equal ground. Love all the guys in BoB no matter their opinion on this matter. Because of the 493rd HB/2K screwup, disabling shot feedback no longer works, even if you have it turned off. (Yes, everyone knows this). If I could have this disabled and not see that my swing line looks like my son's scribbling when he was 3 years old, I may have given the Wolverine more of a shot. But the BIGGEST problem for me is that on the Wolverine (I'm a left swing stick left thumb guy), the downswing never registers for me and I've tried all sorts of different angles. The only way I get a fluid back and forth (once in a while it misses) is if I use the two thumb method, and it just feels awful. With my original controller, I can register that down swing much better than the Wolverine. I have no idea why. Part of me wishes to return the controller as I feel I'll never use it. The other part of me feels I may just keep it and use it again in the event my Old Hoss controller truly falls apart.

Oh kiss it, but after I tried a bunch of different angles with the Wolverine, I went back to the original controller and at MOST, had one or two unregistered downswings. Very weird.

I get it, I’m in the just enjoying the game again camp, no real tours ambition, but having fun.
