my official Xbox series X controller needs to go back to Microsoft. Sometimes my right stick refuses to pull the club back. My left stick drifts the aim cursor up and left and just now when I zoom it to aim by shot my screen was doing 360's. However, I cannot send it back under warranty to Microsoft just yet because I have no alternative controller to continue to play.. So question guys, are they any reasonably priced other controllers on the market you can recommend purchasing that will not fail API for TGC? I missed this convo and I don’t want to start anything so all I will say is I have seen some people getting API’d by TGC using this controller. I view it the same way as a Power A. Just my 2 cents. FWIW i use a stock series x/s controller Use it on PC. Checked with Jeff before I used it for tournaments. Passed API. I get a mix of slows, fasts and the odd perfect and rarely a straight line. What I don’t get is random very fasts which I got with a Series X. I can assure you it’s no Power A. Couldn’t be further away from one.

What was done to the greens this week? They did respond the way normal vfast greens do. Ive never seen greens where you can putt into a bunker before. I shot a +38 here, while on the CC Augusta I shot -2 at the cut and +7 finish. I guess I will never get out of the lowest tier here even if I keep improving at CC.

Hole 11. Two different societies. Same course. Same pin. Two maximums. I wasn't far off it on the 2nd round... I putted into the water twice... I was a hole ahead of Taff as I wasn't playing with live ghosts and was just piss8ng myself laughing at what the hell had just happened.. It could have been 3 times

Well played SkyBlueBen and Knickerbocker, as soon as we saw your scored combined were -3, we were like shite it's gonna be a hard course. My management and tempo was poor at best, especially the back 9 of Round 1 and ended up a disappointing +8, Started -3 through 2 holes on the 2nd round and that was as good as it got... Ended up. Playing @!$# it golf for the last few holes as the fat lady had started singing for the pairs competition and just wanted off the course. +20 overall is a very poor reflection on me and my lack of ability so most sincere apologies to Taff, as I let him down majorly this week and to everyone else aswell for basically giving up as I couldn't do anything and should have composed myself better and not embarrassed myself the way I did.

It’s tough out there. I was doing pretty good until the max and managed to drag back to E in Round 1. Round 2 got the odd birdie here and there and desperately tried to hang on to them. Knickerbocker did fantastic to come out E. it’s a great rendition but shan’t hurry back.

After a few hours sleep and time to think about it ... the course is stunning and beautiful some greens maybe slightly exaggerated but we will see come this week how true to life they are.
However, I should have played better and took longer to play my shots... Wierd thing is I may need to play more to get a better feel. Roll on the Wolverine next week after Ryder Cup

OK, Razer Wolverine M2 review #73. Arrived yesterday, looks sweet AF. Was going to wait until after the Ryder Cup to give it a go but couldn't help myself. Hit a load of balls on the range, mostly grey slow, maybe 1/10 perfect. Took the plunge and calibrated, actually about 3 times. I'm now in a spot where I don't have a perfect but I have a slight tick slow and a slight tick fast, both of which have good results. On the Pro swing on ranked matchmaking they are both perfect. I may go with this for a bit.
Played my second Seniors round, shot a 58 although admittedly a fairly easy set up. Still I have not had many sub 60 rounds in this game at all. Hit 90% at least in that slight tick fast/slow, one or two slightly bigger greys, not one single shot outside of the grey. This has NEVER happened before. Swing line, yeah a little more sensitive and I had a few pushes, but overall I was quite happy with it. Luckily I've already been adding swing plane fittings recently. It felt comfortable in my hand too, and I felt straight at home with the sticks.
So yeah, I'm 100% sold and all in! My only concern is with the API. TGCT have always recommended official controllers. I know people have been using this one without being flagged, but will that be the case for everyone? Will the controller wear out quicker? Honestly, if this thing is good for the Tours it is an absolute game changer in my opinion.

That's what we (a few Brew Crew members) did when we switched just to be on the safe side. It shouldn't fail because it's not a straight shooter but simply a controller with a better response time than the Series X (wireless) controller. I was so impressed I now own two, one for PC and one for XB. Been playing the Tours on PC since Christmas with it with no issue. Don't know about the longevity of the controller, to be on the safe side I only use it for golf.
