Silly question but how do you upload photos to this thing? It's a pain in the ass... Either upload to Twitter and put the link here or, what I do to get the photo natively in the post, is upload to a web location (I use Imagur) the right click the photo, copy photo address, click the photo icon, and paste in the url box... Hope that helps!

Thanks. Sounds complicated. I’ll try but most likely will fail.

Once you create the post its as easy as directly right clicking the image, copying the address and then using the little image button in the forum post to paste

The flat plot challenge is easily the hardest thing I've tried in the designer. I rely on elevation changes to create sightlines usually.

Ok... Maybe I missed it, but there is no plot size just the 10 foot and min 2300 correct? Just checking!

I'm still restricting myself to a smallish plot size to keep my routing tight. I found that a helpful challenge last time.

Strategy is my biggest problem... I either make the holes too easy, or they don't make sense, or something... I have watched Ben's awesome tutorials until I am saturated and it's all running together... not going to lie... I feel a little lost on this one fellas! LOL

I have watched Ben's awesome tutorials until I am saturated and it's all running together... not going to lie... I feel a little lost on this one fellas! LOL The bulk of my strategy comes from playing a lot of golf. I only recently got into the actual "why" of it. For this specific contest I would like for inspiration in different photos. A lot of Florida and Carolina coastal courses are relatively flat. What types of holes are in those courses? Why is the picture interesting (this becomes your anchor for the sight lines you're creating). Also, remember it's a video game. People are going to chew these things up because it isn't like real golf. So don't protect par. Think about courses you've played. They typically have a "safer" spot to hit it, and a riskier spot to hit it. Give the player those options. My biggest piece of advice is find something to use as inspiration. And then work to replicate that. That inspiration will typically visually tell you about where the hazards go. The why will come later. This sole photo was my inspiration for this contest. Its the CB Macdonald Biarritz at Chicago Golf Club. From there I have have this work in progress. Mostly trying to replicate the look (though I also understand the why of it) -

Brought the water/swamp/marsh thing.. whatever you wanna call it.. in a little further on both sides for hole 1 and changed the lighting up. I like the direction this is going so far
