Not to mention 2,300 pretty stout! I sketched a rough routing and came in at 2325 😯 383 yards per hole is pretty generous tbh, just prevents you from doing all par 3s.

Drew up some hole ideas while on my lunch break. Pretty excited about building this one. Definitely building 6 holes that I DO NOT want to extend to 18 haha
But making myself get further along on NT before I hop on this.

I had a short (130ish), an Eden (170ish), and a drivable 4 (310ish)... That left 1690 for 3 more holes meaning an average of 560ish. 😬 Easy to remedy, just can't go with several short holes.

Can I just submit every course I've made?

Woooooah 1 month well this is a fantastic challenge as I've yet to design anything remotely close to flat. Gonna have to really test myself to get it done in that window, but this is a sweet idea!

Looking forward to this challenge!
Anyone else have problems with their measure tools? To be honest mine haven't worked since I purchased the game. Have tried deleting and re-downloading, switching systems of measure, changing resolutions, etc. The yellow lines show up but no distances or elevations. Have been using the create a hole feature to measure distances and elevations or paying particular attention during play-testing as a work-around thus far, but I imagine that is going to be quite obnoxious for this challenge. I have submitted tickets to 2K/steam without response. Am on PC. There has to be someone out there with a similar problem and hoping they have found a solution.

Weird suggestion but you could sink a water plane under the whole area you plan on having holes on then flatten your course to the height you want the minimum to be at, then put a water plane exactly 10 feet above that and voila. Double water plane trick makes the water seethrough and you have a precise measure across the whole course

Contest #2 Details (April 5th-May 5th)Flat Plot ChallengeIt is at this point that you will realize that coconut is a nonsense word, and has in fact no bearing on this contest whatsoever! This contest will test your micro sculpting, creating interesting playing angles, framing, and planting. Rules- Entire plot cannot vary more that 10 feet. For example, if you lower the terrain by 3 feet, the most you will be allowed to raise the terrain is 7 feet. Use the measure tool to check and make sure you stay within these parameters. - 6 holes, total course yardage must be a minimum 2,300 yards (2103 meters). - Any theme/style is allowed. - If you are using water, use the level that the water starts for your measurement point. - Last day to publish is May 5th at 11pm EST. I can see now that you had us in the “Palm’ of your hands with that coconut thing....Trying to “Milk” us for ideas...You really are a “Nut” Good luck to everyone with this one...I’ll keep a “level” head, but I’m definitely going “Flat” out on this one....Should be interesting. I honestly have no idea what it is about the 'contest' or the 'themed' designs or whatever. Something gets the creative juices flowing with this type of thing... Its really weird. I immediately had a wave of inspiration when the contest was posted. Here's what I came up with tonight... Obviously we have a month, so how much of this stays we'll have to see, but I'm actually really digging this challenge! Par 24 - two 4s, two 5s, two 3s. 2427 yards. I'm a huge fan of tight routing, so I artificially constrained myself to 800x400 for the plot, though I wound up not needing nearly that much space... I already have the green complexes I want to "build", as the plot is flat as a pancake at the moment... My focus will really be on strategy, especially w/ the micro-sculpting! Here's to day 1!

I hope there is a viable solution that fixes this... It would suck to have you not partake because of such a technical issue

I'm really in the mood for this challenge - I'm so intrigued by the geometric golden age architecture that I'm gonna try it for 2.2. Why not try something I'm not comfortable with here?

I wonder if we'll reach 52 pages again with this thread?
