Welcome to the Parched Parrot. A desert island resort for adventuress golfers who want a truly unforgettable golfing experience. With deep dunes, rocky coastline and a bubbling creek weaving throughout, every shot has its own challenges balancing strategy with risk. Course management is key and with some split greens and varying wind, each round can provide quite a different experience. Pin 1 is the most normal set of pins with 2,3 and 4 adding in some of the crazier alternate locations. Massive shoutout to jayraygun for the awesome logo and for all of the work you've done to help out the community. I would also like to thank mayday_golf83 and the rest of the judges for running an awesome contest.

A couple of these bunkers took my lunch money and gave me a swirly in a toilet.

Bunkers look fun and dick-punchy. Excited to give this one a go!

Looks great man! Cheers, I'm excited to hear your thoughts on it once you've played it. A couple of these bunkers took my lunch money and gave me a swirly in a toilet. Bunkers look fun and dick-punchy. Excited to give this one a go! Yeah they are not the kind of bunkers you want to meet in a dark alley. This course is a good test of peoples recovery skills and can add a lot of drama to a round. In general my philosophies around bunkers in this game are that they are way too easy to shoot out of. These ones can't be accused of that.

As someone who found the bunkers on a few occasions, that oasis of sand is no joke. Lol. Very interesting track you created. Loved the environment and textures. Liked the openness of the course without it feeling barren, definitely a lot to keep you immersed. Greens were no pushover and that sand...yikes. Those were some of the deepest I’ve seen in the game. Nicely done sir

Thanks for the playthrough. Watching someone play the course right handed made me realize that the framing on a lot of the tee shots is heavily biased towards us leftys. Nicely done sir Thanks, the environment was a struggle for me since I normally like to plant quite densely so this took a lot of restraint. What is planted though was placed with a lot of care. I tried to leave all of the best sightlines intact and keep the greens shadow free. A lot of the bunker sculpting is done purposefully to take advantage of the lighting by having shadows creep down the face of them. This makes for some really nice contrast and helps with depth perception as well.

Some really fun moments on this course. You took some risks on some of the green sites, but I think they turned out great! As always, there were plenty of solid sight lines and good aesthetics from you. I think you pulled this off very well sir! Bravo!

Your support has always been much appreciated and was good motivation for hand placing every single rock in the creek bed. I really enjoyed throwing out the rulebook for these green sights. I'm sure some people will complain but they really do create some pretty intense moments over the 4 pin sets. My favourite moment from playtesting was probably having a 4ft eagle putt on hole 3 pin 2. Your course turned out great too. The planting was impeccable as always and super fun to play. I also learned that there is a hitting off the cart path sound effect so thanks for that. Love the course. Love the name. Thanks for the support, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I like to think that the parched parrot spends all day in the palm trees on top of the clubhouse getting drunk and heckling golfers who miss the first green.

Great looking fun course. Thanks guys! This video has definitely helped the play count a lot so you must not be the only one smudge. I loved how the video shows all of the things I wanted to see when creating the course. Tough decisions, excitement, fear, exhilaration and a bit of randomness thrown in to keep things interesting.
