Welcome to the middle of nowhere, stranger! We bought an old abandoned ranch and repurposed it with a golf course and tiny resort! Lost Sparrow Ranch is a par 72 course framed with tall pines and hazy mountain views in the backdrop. The course includes wide fairways and large approachable greens. There are challenges to be had by players of all skill levels and higher winds are recommended to challenge the better players. If you choose to stay in one of our condos remember to bring the whole family! Resort dining in the clubhouse is highly rated by the experts at StuffYourFace and the pool area (visible behind the 18th green) gives the kids somewhere to enjoy themselves while you smack the ball around. Availability is currently limited so book your stay soon! Gold Tees: 7,550 yds White Tees: 7,079 yds Red Tees: 6,935 yds This course is my entry into the 2021 World Cup of Design. Enjoy!

Well done dude. The "texture tearing" was done well as a way to break up the areas adjacent to the holes. The course is very tight routing, but I think you did a good job of switching up the look of each hole. The course "felt" relatively flat, but you did a good job of adding some pretty substantial elevation changes. Definitely enjoyed my round. Good luck inn the contest bro!

Thank you @babybull and meyo for the kind words. I appreciate the playthrough, Danny! You are too kind for doing these. I had a feeling you'd be in for a battle taking on set 3 true sim style. That would drive me mad! Good fun watching that

Wonderful work Justin - beautiful bunkering, lovely environment and a tricky set of greens. Really enjoyed it!

Interesting and challenging track on a little resort type plot. It kinda feels like there shouldn't be a good golf course on this plot of land and yet here it is. A damn good golf course too. The greens were generous in size so generally easy to get on 'em, but once you were on that's where the easy stopped. They made for an interesting challenge, trying to focus on a good spot to land your approach given the large area you had to aim for generally.
Good job sir and good luck in the contest.

CiB0RG Bump Went back for another round this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it again! I do have a couple of bits of feedback for you - take it with a pinch of salt, of course, as it's still a great course! 1 - with the bunkers, I really like the style, but be a tad careful putting brush shapes in the fairway - they leave the jagged rough edge around them which looks a little strange. Maybe spline the fairway around the interior bunkers next time 2 - some of the greens were a bit too big for me. Contours were great as always, but I think some of them were massive and a bit forgiving for their size. Planting and environment was great though, and some very strategic holes too. Great work Justin! Good luck bud!

Contours were great as always, but I think some of them were massive and a bit forgiving for their size. Planting and environment was great though, and some very strategic holes too. Great work Justin! Good luck bud! I appreciate the feedback. In my past designs I've always splined fairway around interior bunkers but with this one it was a weird environment to begin with and I ended up liking the intruding jagged look of the rough around the bunkers so I kept it. That choice was sort of an experimental thing for me... I've always tried to go with a new style with every publish so I don't lock myself down in a particular comfort zone. The big greens were also intended but a known risk. No real mystery there I just wanted each pin set to play at different lengths so each round felt different. I'm definitely one of those designers still trying to figure out what works and doesn't work for other player's enjoyment but I do take a bit of pride in trying to build courses that feel different, for better or worse lol. Thanks for the plays! I've already begun work on my next project... completely different from this one gotta keep it fresh
