Some early ideas for me on Turkey: I'm looking into the European Tour - Turkish Airlines Open event hosted at either Montgomerie Maxx Royal or Regnum Carya Golf Club. I found these two courses to be so cool especially by watching some European tour highlights on YouTube. These tall pine trees will be a common theme throughout the course framing each hole, along with the boldly sculpted, deep bunkers. I plan on using a somewhat similar bunker style from my latest course (Thunderhawk) and incorporate it into this one with some different shapes from what I usually use. I've already started a plot that I am super excited about, some WIP pics will come a little later. But for now, these are some inspiration pics.

Great choice for representation of Turkey... Antalya- by far and away, is my most underrated (off the radar) tourist stop in the Mediterranean. So many ways you can go with this course from a local topographical perspective.

With school finals wrapping up I finally found some time to work on this again, most courses I've done in the past have been a nonstop grind everyday but this one I've been allowed to take my time on and am super happy with how its turning out. Front 9 is routed, now have to route the back nine to share the existing tree groupings to save the plant meter, which currently sits at 65%. Also I have changed to bunker texture a bit as you can tell from my previous pictures. I've started to add a mulch/dirt surface 2 texture under all of the trees (some pictures aren't updated), but I'm trying my hardest to keep the Turkey feel and not a Carolina pines look.
