Just seen this article this morning, saw a post on Instagram about it. Not sure where else to post a thread about so here it is. Could this be a good thing or a bad thing? I think it could only be a good thing getting the most popular and best golfer ever involved in the game. Or maybe Tiger Woods takes away from the designer being improved upon and HB decides to focus more on the gameplay. www.engadget.com/tiger-woods-2k-sports-golf-games-hb-studios-170824561.html

Where is the “ wait and see” option? I’m not convinced that this is going to be what we hope it will be.

The guys from HB might get to meet and greet with Tiger. That in it's self would be a bucket list thing.

Or maybe Tiger Woods takes away from the designer being improved upon and HB decides to focus more on the gameplay. Every new game, we go through the speculation that this year HB will abandon the designer, and every game offers tangible improvements to the designer - sometimes even more than anyone had imagined. Midway through TGC1 we got the ability to change surface textures. In TGC2 splines were introduced. In TGC2019, splines were vastly improved, and the ability to automatically fill them and add a secondary surface was added. In PGA2K21 HB finally decoupled objects from theme.

It is amusing that we think it was HB studios that signed Tiger and not 2K. Oh wait, does HB studios even exist anymore?
From the above link:
Tiger Woods signs long-term deal with 2K Woods will work on 'PGA Tour 2K' games with HB Studios, which the publisher is buying.
