Yep, I was liking the look of this one straight off the bat and proceeded to thoroughly enjoy plotting my way around the track. At near 8000 yds from the tips, she is a lengthy one but it played very nicely throughout in the low default wind I got.
Certainly more of a course for those that are interested in how the land moves than those that are more interested in the off course 'eye candy', as it's called.
Should be a strong contender to emerge from the group, at least, I'd have thought.

This was a fun course. Really like the grassy texture and the dunes look. Even at 8000 yds, it didn’t feel ridiculously long. And I scored well, so that’s an added bonus. Definitely want to give this another go to try out different pins

I love that grassy look. How'd you create that so well??

Should've packed the big boys clubs for this one. Still a very nice course, GL in the contest..

I really enjoy the variety of different looks and environments that you have been going for in courses lately. I think the star of this course, however, was the smooth natural flow of the green undulations. I had a really fun round, and enjoyed the (mostly treeless) environment you created here. Well done bro!

robnThanks for the kind words, was definitely trying to make a no frills pure golf experience. Whether I make it out of the group or not I'm just happy I got to compete coming in as an alternate.. Scootmcgoot for some reason wont let me @ u but thanks for the feedback, my courses always show longer on the card then they actually play.. cutchemist423 types of grass and one bush and lots and lots of it lol meyoRreally appreciate the video, how u play with those settings is beyond me lol no green grid looks especially frustrating. I could never do it lol.. mayday_golf83Great round on that playthrough, u got robbed on some of those puts lol. Great job with the contest, really appreciate everything u do. Thanks! @babybull Don't lie there was no where near enough rocks for u on this one lol. All jokes aside thanks for the kind words, definitely been trying to create something different and hopefully unique with each new project I start

I love the texture so much underneath and would love to create that look in the future.

cutchemist42For the most part, there's a lot of rough sculpting under the grass to give it the darker rocky texture.. shoot me a personal message if u need any help with it..

Brian,
Really well done on this course. I am a sucker for courses with really clean lines and this one delivered for sure. The holes were all extremely unique and the I truly felt like I was transported to your desert base course. The hills/undulations were well done and created some amazing views. My only feedback is around some of the bunkers, at times I felt they were quite large and very deep. I realize this was a specific design choice and while they looked great from a distance in practical sense they were a bit much. This is just a minor thing though.

stubby3596Thanks for the playthrough and feedback, really appreciate it. I do agree I got a bit carried away with the bunkers, I almost scrapped them completely and reworked them a few times in the design process but ultimately stuck with it.. cd06Thanks man, rumor has it the explorers got detained at customs so it might be a few months until their next expedition lol..

It didn't detract at all from the enjoyment of the course. I really liked the vibe you created. I felt like I was out there in twilight with my golf cart and a few sleeves of balls.
