Stunning course. Being somewhat of a traditionalist who's not big on cliffside courses I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as Yarra; I was completely wrong. That sightline on 6 is to die for... even when playing pin set 4 with a strong right-to-left wind (I managed to hit it to 15ft so it clearly isn't unreasonable!). Cracking job as always; looking forward to playing the other pin sets soon.

Really not sure what to say. Struggling to find anything to trash talk about.
Incredible stuff Ben, will be playing this many more times.

You give me positive feedback on my Design League thing and then release this, reminding me I suck lol Loved that one Ben. Awesome environment, great greens and bold sculpting I haven't seen you try to this extent yet. In terms of the contest, it's close between this, Reeb's and Bunny's, but I'd pick this over them. Biggest compliment I can give is that this gives Lost Preserve a run for its money for best course in the game. Great work buddy!

Fun course, def had those RJwills vibes in parts, but didn't really feel 100% like one of his - it's certainly a b101 course, lots of markers/feels out there that def had your style pasted all over it. I'm sure you'll do well in the contest, thanks for the publish, really enjoyed my round!

Thanks pal and I agree - realised early on that I can't pull off that sort of unkempt wildness that he does, but I could certainly incorporate it a bit. As with all projects, it evolved a lot as I went along and I think it got better as a result of them. Need to catch up on yours and others now that I'm over the hump. Looking forward to a few rounds tonight

Back when I got 2k21 in August, as a newbie to the series, I would just play Arctic Fury courses all the time. While I still play and enjoy each of his new releases, I tend to look at very natural and very ground game based courses more now. I play a ton of courses so I'll always find something new I like!

Amazing video Ben - makes me want to go back and play it again. And again. And again! I truly believe this course is going to go very far - your best work, IMO. Thanks for all you do for the community and all the courses you build buddy.

Excellent golf course, cool layout, some outstanding golf holes, awesome natural environment created, fun, but challenging course to play. A lot to like about this course, one of my favorite courses I've played. Holes that stuck out to me were 1,2,15, and 18. I think 15 was my favorite hole, might be the most difficult hole on the course. Exceptional overall design, very well done!

I firmed it up and got the winds blowing. Fast greens came through as 163s for me. Seems to me you embraced a slightly more fantastical side with this one. If those safety inspectors come calling I hope they've got no heart issues. As expected, you've always gotta be on your toes here. Aint no sleeping at the wheel lest you wanna get chewed up. Engagement factor at Strathlorne is as high as the cliff faces are there. Is it my personal favourite of yours? I don't think so. But it's bloody good (no sh%$ Sherlock). I'm watching this group with great interest. (Hell, I'm watching the whole thing with great interest!)

For a newer designer this was not a bad effort at all. There were some sightline issues with quite a few holes (they looked too good) which distracted me from finding faults. If I had to find some positives from my round, I would say the best holes in order were the 10th, 18th, 8th, 12th, 17th, 15th, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 1st, 5th, 16th, 9th, 14th, 7th, 13th, 11th & the 3rd. The rest sucked tbh. With a bit more attention to detail and some tutorials, you're not that far away. I've included a video below which also might help you develop. Good effort though - keep at it. P.S. I'm adding you to the Heisenberg high five club but I might be back for the clap when all entrants are in. Great course Ben - congrats

Played it last night and enjoyed my round. Was surprised I was sitting at -7 or -8 heading in to the clubhouse after 9 thinking is this really a Ben course? Then preceded to double bogey 9 followed by another a hole or two after. Struggled on the back to say the least by not hitting the right shots. Still loved the course and your style of design. Finished -6 I think. Good luck on the contest.
