Figured I'd give this some time to breathe with all of the WCOD publishes coming in before posting, but definitely want to go ahead and thank each of you for your comments - special thanks to mayday_golf83 and meyo for their videos. Outside of the design process itself, watching playthroughs is probably my most enjoyable part of publishing a course, so thank you both very much for that.
The course might seem a good bit different to some who have become accustomed to the wide open, fairway for miles (exaggeration but you get the point) style courses that have become so popular - and rightly so, they are good fun, too, just a different style. There's not loads of width everywhere, it's a more narrow, treelined track that required accuracy off the tee into tight landing areas - I think that's probably the most stand-out feature because of how relatively few courses employ that strategy these days, and that was exactly what made me go for it. I remembered courses from a years and years ago when smaller fairway width was more popular, and thought "hey, why not, let's see what happens." Not at all saying that style is entirely unique by any stretch, nor was it intended to constrain options across the board, in theory at least. There are preferred angles into certain pins, one's you want to be closer to for pitch/splash/flop, but others you want to make sure to have a full wedge into - that's a risk/reward calculation I was aiming for, which hopefully came across to those of you who played.
I could go on and on about this one given the amount of time I put into her - touched the course to some extent nearly every day for a good couple of months (or however long the build window was once I settled on this plot, can't remember) - but figured I'd throw out my thoughts on what I assume was something most people encountered during their round. Hope you all enjoyed the course, got that nice NC pine tree vibe I was going for, and again, appreciate everyone's comments and the plays.

And you executed that style and look perfectly, the course still stands in my memory as one of the most enjoyable I have played from this contest. I did not mind the narrow FWs even playing True Sim.

Very engaging round of golf! I had to absolutely grind in an 8mph wind for E 72. Nailed southern pines vibe. This course definitely has two looks into and away from the sun, but the really low, ghostly haze makes the down-sun holes look just as cool as the ones playing into it. 18 was a really nice quirky par 5 to finish, loved it. The par 3s also stood out. Great entry and will be a phenomenal tour course.

I liked the layout, great shaping and sculpting but I got frustrated by continued 2nd shots from 200+ on narrow choke areas and no second cut. But that's a personal thing, I just prefer a bit of relief missing it by a foot on a 10-yard wide landing area.
Still really good, you captured the pinehurst type feel to me.

I love playing all these courses from great designers and this one sure didnt disappoint, I have a rankings of about 75 or so created courses and this one immediately went into my top 5, it is a lot of fun to play but even better to just look at, very nice work here!
