What's considered the most prestigious of the x3 design contests - Major Champ, World Cup of Design or Dream Team - and in what order of prestige would they be ranked?

Honestly, all equal in my mind. No way I’m looking at someone’s course winning CC vs World Cup and thinking of one in a lesser light.

I think the Major contest got dropped from schedules - assume that's the new swing difficulty that made that happen?

I think Major just got dropped because it was the least unique and more people wanted to see National Treasure instead.
Dream Team they don't get ranked in order and CC doesn't have a barrier to entry, so I would probably vote World Cup.

I would agree with Petty on this one. Since the world cup has no restrictions you get to see designers showcasing a lot more of their own personal style and skills. You truly get to see the best of what each person has to offer.

All contests are equally dumb.
