Hello. I don't know what just happened. I am completely embarrassed. I would like to dig a hole and hide there until next week. First things first, I'm swinging on a different area of my mousepad now, and my tempo has improved again. This shows in the results. I played the Woodputty event as a warm-up and got into the low -40s. Then I put together two nice opening rounds. Both not bogey free, but I can't complain about a -17 which could be on either side of the cut line. Either way, I'm fine as I'm definitely safe when it comes to demo marks. Objectives have changed with the huge field of participants. But then disaster struck. I started par, par, eagle, and then right thereafter two bogeys. And all of a sudden, I got nervous. Why the hell do I get nervous in round 3?!? I completely fell apart! Almost every shot was a red miss. At first, mostly red fasts and then red slows because of overcompensation. My hand got cramped and I didn't get a single smooth movement out of it. After a colorful exchange of birdies and bogeys, I stood at E through 16. Red fast and a missed 7 footer for double on 17. Red fast, red fast, 5 from the tee and a quad on 18. I took the whole final round to try to figure out what and how that happened. I have no idea. Maybe I need a break. See you next week. Cheers and good luck all.

This could be my last week here...

... missed cut for sure, but I might have done enough to avoid the fifth red thingy?
Exciting!!! 😂😂😂
Best wishes Frans

After some very average play in Platinium since I'm here, I finally managed to get my game together for one hour. -20 at the cut, hopefully it will be enough to make my first cut! 😃

-27 at the cut. Had a weird one on 17 R1 where my birdie putt glided over the hole despite being centre-cut and grey fast speed.

-19 at the cut. Got it to -43 total. I’ve never liked Sawgrass or played well there but shocked to see scores so low. I didn’t think the setup was that easy. Didn’t think cut was in jeopardy but after finishing it looks dicey...

MC (-7 and -9) after the switch to 60Hz. Will take a bit of time to adjust to the timing, etc. Weird thing is that I hit a hook into the water on #7 in R1 yet it shows I hit 100% FIR for that round and I hit the GIR as well on the hole even after re-teeing for my 3rd shot. Hmmm.
I still shot myself in the foot with the flat stick above all else, which is my M.O. for the last few seasons.

It’s a pretty short course, not often you have more than a wedge into any of the par 4s / all the par 5s are reachable in two.

Ha I guess you’re right. -19 with 26 and 28 putts certainly leaves a lot of room for improvement.

My first round on tour since December (work has been hell). I just kept saying, "you're just trying to make the cut, Jared." Putter isn't exactly operational yet. -9 after one round, which I was really pleased with.
I'm going to try and get R2 in today and make a cut. Fingers crossed.

Is this something you can do on a regular PS4? Is it worth trying it?

Trying to keep the Platinum cut streak alive, but it's going to be tough as I'm sitting at -17 thru 2. Two bogeys in R2 will likely be the difference. Both were a result of poor splashes, which I'd like to attribute to the switch to 60Hz! Gotta pay more attention to those partial shots going forward, definitely more room for error in the 75-98% range now near the top of the swing.

Was rather intimidated coming into my first Plat week knowing the cut line was gonna be somewhere around -20... Nerves got the best of me in R1, just had nothing going and played probably my worst round in months with a soft 26 putt -6.
Shook it off for R2 and had a solid round going -6 thru 8 going into the par 5 9th... Missed tempo to water dunk. Managed to save the par but that's basically a bogey on that hole. Was cruising along until an easy eagle attempt on 16 turned into a three put par and a tough look for birdie on 17 turned into a 3 putt bogey. Another 26 putts but -9 this time.
-15 at the cut and my first week is already over. Hoping its enough to keep a clean slate and avoid any pesky marks. Loving the new 60hz on XB1 and hoping with a little more practice next week I won't putt like a total nonce.
