In 1978, Lord Grosvenor was given the responsibility of creating a championship golf course in Cheshire, England. The plot of land chosen was famously used in 1874 by Queen Victoria to bestow upon Hugh Grosvenor, the title of 3rd Marquess of Westminster. Cheshire Royal GC was the resultant course, considered one of the best in the UK, and continues to host major competitions including, “Ramble in the Bramble” for the old folk, and the Wednesday Lady fourballs. The latter competition was once thought of as the most fiercely fought competition West of the Pennine Mountains. Keep a look out for the Grosvenor Coat of Arms which is part of the Cheshire flag. The par 71 will appeal to all abilities and is very playable with many scoring opportunities. The wide fairways allow positioning from the tee to set up an optimal approach. As such, the greens are well guarded, and often have false fronts to put an emphasis on accuracy. I’ve had a blast making this course, in fact I’ve had almost as much enjoyment creating the course material as I have in the designer. I hope you all have fun playing it.

Please Note i don't scroll about the course looking for things i just play what's in front of me.
on my scoring system i gave it 87/100
Design 20 - Enjoyment 22 -Realism 23- Playability 22
Leading Score for me so far would have been a couple of points higher if those bunkers on the 13th would have been in view, might be a design feature which i completely understand my leading course so far wish all courses were like this feel so natural and real.....class course.

Got Nothing else to do with this lockdown, Also got no design friends here so i feel in a good position to be Honest and just mark what i enjoy.....As soon as a links course appears score will be right up to 100......lol
Serious now really is a class course just love the feel and look of it, just what i really enjoy. Of course just a personal view and nothing against any other course which others may perfer.

This course looks very natural and realistic. Very solid sightlines on every shot(minus the 7th(I think) tee where the top of one tree straight ahead was blocking a large view of the fairway), and every green complex with bunkers was sculpted really well. I will turn the clouds off for my next round on this course because(through absolutely no fault of you as the designer) this game's cloud cover totally takes away the nice visuals of sculpting, especially around bunkers. Overall, this course was very impressive with a lot of details that truly made it feel like I was on the course. Solid performance man!!

@babybull blueblood1995 - Thanks for giving it a play. I hope the ground staff and club professional were accomodating and friendly. I warned them that there might be a few visitors this weekend.

mayday_golf83 - Thanks for the playthrough. I was in Whodad's twitch stream last night and we had such a laugh at the playground I created for his daughter. It made me smile when you saw it! Good luck with the competition. It's going to be a busy time for you I bet. Thanks for the time that volunteers like yourself put into these things.

Really well done sir. Played pin 3 in very little wind and had a good round. It's very clear you put a tonne of time into it and everything was really well executed. The off course stuff was immaculately done too with a great detail. Congrats....hopefully all us alternates can get a spot

Heisenberg Thanks for the kind words. My ambitions were really just to take part in the contest - genuinely, I just have fun with the designer.

Really liked this course. Clean and unassuming. Just a nice solid parkland style 18. Of the 4 WC entires I’ve played so far, probably my favorite. Well done sir and good luck in the competition
