yeltzman - Thanks very much for the play and for playing the other courses as well. Glad you enjoyed it and really appreciate you taking the time to score it also. nitro22 - Haha - thanks mate. It's been fun regardless. rob4590 - Thanks Rob. Yeah I've watch a few rounds now and people in general are finding it tougher than I expected. Quite a few people are not playing for a safe miss and paying the price given some tricky greens. @babybull - Your gif game is as strong as your design game......thanks again as always. leveler - Thankyou sir......was a lot of fun to make. mayday_golf83 - I can't believe b101 dropped you to do all this on your own . I honestly think it's best for everyone if he just drops out of the running ...eheh. Thanks so much for the play. Was great to watch. meyo - I don't know how you TST guys do it. Massive respect for having the skill and patience to play without the grids and scout etc. These greens are tough enough with the grids so it's not suprising they were tough for you without them. Very well played regardless and thanks heaps for sharing the round. I really enjoyed watching you tackle it TS style.

Heisenberg another gem of a course from you. Your planting skills are top notch! I really liked the finishing holes, especially #18 which gave me a pebble feel. I enjoyed the setting and the vibe although I did find it hard to differentiate first holes on the early part of the course (1 to 12/13) but you definitely finished up strong. If you manage to make the main field, this will be a strong contender.

This course was amazing, I love your back stories and the execution of them is stellar. The course was challenging enough to keep you on your game yet fair enough that it wasn’t too stressful. I fell in love with the scenery and plot sculpting and some of the views....my gosh. Drop dead gorgeous. The farm stuff sprinkled around only added to the immersed realism of the story and fit quite well here.
Another amazing track my friend! I have no idea how you’re an alternate in this comp. this course would be in contention for the win IMO. Good luck and thanks for putting out another stellar course for our community to enjoy!

I love these greensites, they have a toned down Black Salt Valley feel and like BSV I'd love to have a Par 3 routing here just for kicks.

stubby3596 - Thanks very much. The course was loosely inspired by Cape Wickham in Australia and their 18th was the one hole I really wanted to include (see below). But yes, very similar to Pebble also. Both obviously epic finishing holes. lucheyschoe - Not everyone always loves off course stuff but I really enjoy doing it and I think it adds to the environment. It breaks up the monotony of sinking thousands of bushes :/. Thanks for playing. 9ironanon - Yeah my intention was to be fairly generous tee to green and then make you earn your score on the greens. Very much how Cape Wickham plays in RL - lots of width and then some tough, undulating greens. It was no surprise to me that most of the par 3's are indexed really low.

The course was loosely inspired by Cape Wickham in Australia Really gorgeous visuals and a blast to play. Five stars and favorited. The real Cape Wickham is a Mike DeVries design. I'm a member at course he designed in Michigan, and the greens have the wild internal contour that are a hallmark of that club (Kingsley) and up at Greywalls in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Lots of false edges and places where you want to feed your ball to the hole with the slopes. Definitely has the "found, not built" feel of Mike's courses. Really awesome job.

WhatAboutAmeobi - Thanks once again for the playthrough. I think you've been a really good addition to the forums and these videos are especially useful for the newer designers. Unfortunately every time you stream it's like 4am my time as I'd love to talk you through my thoughts on some things you mention in my playthroughs. I don't normally want to get into specifics but I found your thoughts on the 5th with the centreline bunker interesting and there was a lot of discussion on it in your chat etc. You mentioned you'd never go on the lhs of the bunker whereas I'm taking that line every time. It was completely intentional as it rewards the players who look at the green site before teeing off. I'll choose a short length (it's 25 yards shorter) and hit into some significant slopes as opposed to across them. Also because the green is narrow and most misses are left and right, attacking it head on allows for a safer miss. Anyway, just thought it was really interesting to hear your thinking on that so figured I'd share mine . Also I wanted to mention something that I think you're doing a lot better in your recent videos is remembering that not all hazards are designed/placed with your tee and wind condition in mind. Not everybody does that when they judge/critique courses. There's so many varying factors other than placing them at 295yards such as different player's club lengths, different tees, wind conditions and even how firm the fairways are. Great stuff and thanks once again for the play and video - I loved it. wseitz26 - That's so great to hear. For his course at Wickham to have grown in popularity and acclaim in such a short period of time is outstanding. Very grateful for you to point out the similarities were noticed. Q - Congrats Q. Got a clip mate?

Got a clip mate? That just makes me like the design even more. The fact that we can both look at the same hole, in more or less the same detail, and come to completely different conclusions about how to attack it is awesome! Love that the options are there and each player can decide what shot they'd like to have left. And thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated!

Played this one last night and absolutely loved it. Such natural beauty throughout. Thought the bunkering was just gorgeous. And the little period piece buildings and farms were perfectly done. Awesome work fella.
