Introducing Pronghorn Run: This course was loosely inspired by a recent trip to Yellowstone National Park. The northern section of the park and the Norris Geyser Basin were two areas that I thought would be really cool to draw some ideas from. I didn't aim to recreate the exact environment in these areas, but to instead create my own unique setting that incorporated some of their features. The greens on the course feature some fun pin locations, internal contours, and the ability to use the ground game, especially on the reachable par 5's. The course is relatively short but still offers a fun and challenging test. I hope you guys enjoy the course and I look forward to hearing any and all feedback! Wow! What a beautiful course! You really nailed the environment here and I loved the little touches around the clubhouse area. 5⭐️ and a favorite for me!

This looks ridiculous. I'm in awe. Textures kinda remind me of Old Sunset Field in an different environment. I'll have to catch up on some courses - I've missed a lot of them for Design League stuff!

Great environment. Really liked the barren look and open spaces along with the texturing. Holes were solid, challenging and fun to figure out. Started off like crap but rebounded for a -1 with a birdie putt that skirted by on 18 to finish. 5* and a favorite, will definitely go back and play again.

I had a few more extras around the clubhouse/range area, but I had to delete a few so I could add a bit more planting throughout the course. Thanks for the 5 stars and favourite!

Appreciate it man! Old Sunset is one of my favourites courses/environments, so thank you for the comparison. That course actually inspired me to work with some of these textures and go for a somewhat similar vibe. Now that this one is completed perhaps I'll jump into Design League too... still a bit of time left so we'll see lol.

Designing on xbox makes it difficult to nail down those open areas due to the poor rendering distances of grasses, but hopefully it translates well. Thanks for the 5 star and favourite!

Just played. This has instantly become one of my absolute favourite courses in the game. One of those creations where you have to ponder what the theme used actually is. The theme is merely the starting point for the creation which is absolutely bespoke. The fairway / green / rock / tree colours and combinations on-course actually look like the Scottish barren grouse moorlands of the Highlands. You know you aren’t in the Scottish Highlands, but you could be. I would imagine anyone playing this who has experience of certain American and Canadian landscapes could imagine the course has been set in their country too. The lighting, layout, colours, contouring, planting... all perfectly executed. The second shot into the 18th, with the angle you shoot into, towards the clubhouse behind the green is completely convincing. The hot tub and planting are genius. Instant 5 star favourite, worthy of play after play. Hope you get the playcount this work of art deserves.
