La Roque Gageac G.C. is located in a village bearing the same name which is part of the Dordogne region in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Southwestern France. One of the most beautiful villages in France and it now has a golf course to match. Welcome to La Roque Gageac G.C. The course measuring 7,019 yards from the White tees (or 6,710 yards from the Black tees) is a Par 71 course, comprising of 5 Par 3âs, 9 Par 4âs and 4 Par 5âs with 4 pin sets. The course can play anywhere from easy to hard depending on the wind conditions and this difficulty can be even more accentuated by the kicker slopes on most greens which are penal for any errant shots. I hope you enjoy your round, the spectacular views and the challenge of La Roque Gageac G.C. Thanks to jayraygun for the fantastic vid

I have to say that the bunkers look splendid in-game.

-8 from the tips, pin 1 and medium wind.
Course was very natural, very real to me. The kind of design I really appreciate. A largely restrained and mature design I would say.
I hope you don't mind me saying, but I thought the building on no.10 with the sprinkling of random folk loitering around was unfortunate and detracted somewhat from what I otherwise thought was one of the most naturally beautiful looking tee shots I've seen in the game.
My tempo was actually pretty pants during the round (XB thing), which is the reason I don't play and comment on as many courses as I would like these days. So, in terms of difficulty (I do know the other pins would be harder for the most part), I thought you maybe erred just a smidge on the side of caution and could have maybe taken one or two more risks in this regard.
All in all though, great job. I'd happily find myself playing this one on tour.

Pin3 and Pin4 probably the most difficult. Halfway house decking was made with a tournament object so the crowd appears there, so if you turn off crowds in the course menu then they wont appear for you. Thanks again for playing it.

Fair enough. Makes sense, but it was more the building than the randomers I was commenting on.

It's a halfway house though in the same style as the clubhouse so felt it was appropriate but everyone has different tastes. C'est la vie.

Lets just forget about it entirely then and focus instead on the majority positive things I had to say about this course.

Congrats Alan. A big step up from your RDC imo. The planting and atmosphere you created was brilliant. Well done sir.

Just finished this course. I really dig your environments varying a lot between publishes. You are definitely improving with each release. I enjoyed my round on this course. I think this is the third BGD group course I've played. Nice to see another group of designers putting out some solid courses!

Good stuff bud. The planting on a lot of the holes was fantastic and you created a really cool environment. Congrats on a great course, even if I can't pronounce the name to save my life. ð
