Hello everybody! With only a couple of weeks until the World Cup, I thought we could have some positive chat about favourite courses in 2K21. They can be ported courses if you want, but I'll stick to new releases. It doesn't have to specifically be your top three/five/ten courses - just courses you really like. To start, here are some of mine. Hoi An Beach Club - environment is awesome, back to back par threes and par fives are quirky and brilliant and the bunker style is phenomenal. Blue Umbrella - super quirky, as you'd expect from a digitalbunny release, but ultimately a superb test of golf. Can't remember which hole the wedge flick par three was, but that was a beauty. Potunk - brilliant environment, but what really makes this course great are the varied hole designs. Long Island gumbo makes me very happy indeed. Lost Preserve - impossible not to include this one. Holes 10-12 are probably three of my favourite holes ever. It's tough, but at the end of the day very hard not to fall in love with this one. Asylum - who said you needed sand bunkers for challenge? This course has a phenomenal environment and the 12th has one of my favourite views to date. Resmando Match Club - The most fun I've ever had playing this game. Hilarious greens, awesome textures and some seriously cool sightlines. Trayys improves with every publish IMO. I can't wait to hear some of your favourites!

Lost Preserve is one everyone has to play at some point - Dream Team's best IMO.

As above some of my favs that have not been mentioned and reasons...
* The Kingdom - for the overall course environment and shot strategy * Cherrybrook - because it feels like a real course * Shaker Valley - best tournament setup (closely followed by Hush Valley) * Oakleigh Dunes - ALMOST as good as South Yarra for best sandbelt course * Ryland Heath - because I still cannot believe this was created by a Rookie * Gardens of Babylon - because I still cannot believe I hit a 4 iron approach from sand atop a building in an ancient civilisation on hole 18! * Carbondale Mining - course routing was sublime * Kemmer Gorge / Yoho River - best Rocky Mountain vibes * Merced Municipal - almost as good as Cherrybrook in the "it played real" category but a runaway winner in the best San Fran bay area course. and * Springbrook CC - for some template action!
So many more. Might add some others once others add their thoughts.
Cheers

Loved both of those courses

Loved both of those courses Merced is more true to san Francisco itself, blackwood looks more like marin or the area near mt diablo.

I know blueblood1995 mentioned this one but I'll give a mention to Ryland Heath. The fact that is one of the 25 best courses I've played since getting the game and it was done by a rookie blows my mind every time. And, as a person who has played Woking, I can see the resemblance. Seriously scottish67, well done! And I bet there are some planting masters in the community still drooling over how good the planting is.

Thanks blueblood1995 cd06 for the shoutout on Ryland. I hope my next design can live up to that one, it should be completed sometime mid/late-March.
