Thanks very much for those images, the course didn’t get approval for the database the reviewer said every hole was blind. I think he was playing with sunglasses on, I played it through again myself and I counted 15 holes where I could see the ball bounce on the fairway and roll to a stop from the tee. Anyway I don’t really care about approval or not I design for myself and if people like it then my jobs done. Once again thank you for the images and giving my course some attention.

Hey Les, Just because you can see the ball bounce and roll doesn’t mean it isn’t blind. Blind means you can’t see the hole plays or where the hazards are from standing on the tee. It’s a hard concept because the designer doesn’t operate from the tee view. Make sure you are going. Back and checking the view from the tee to see if you can see the way the hole will play and where the hazards are. B101 just did a video on YouTube that really speaks to this concept and I would suggest you have a look.

I can see most of the hazards of the tee on nearly all the holes thank you but that’s a philosophy I don’t subscribe to we have zoom to aim and an overhead map view in game something we don’t have on an actual course. Thanks for your input though

I played it this morning and there are quite a few blind shots. That said, I did see where you said it was a loose RCR so I figured that’s the way the real course played. It didn’t bother me horribly but I can see, with that many blind shots, why a non approved stamp was placed on it. Did like the course though and it had a nice muni feel to it.

The True Sim tour doesn’t use any of these features and they operate from the same database as all of their other tours.

Thank you
