It was #12 the other night of Sunday pin practice. Tonight it was #16 with Saturday pins. I love this classic hole, but this hole position is the toughest of the bunch. If you go just a bit to the left, you are down the hill. Go to the right and you have a super fast, breaking putt that can go down the hill. I guess this is the way to do it.

I love that despite this definitely being a harder than average course, I feel like I am seeing more aces, eagles, and even an albatross, than I see every other week, and by a long shot.
I've followed arguments by those who do not like the changes that were made to this course over time, and who think the course does not represent what Jones and MacKenzie intended. I can agree somewhat with that argument, as well.
It's clear though that this course has been tweaked countless times with tournament play in mind, and it really shines as a tournament course both in real life and in video game golf. I'd love to see some of the elements of augusta implented into tour courses going forward. Specifically, the presence of very difficult holes, with lots of scoring opportunities mixed in.

I'm in full agreement with you on this. This is how a course should be made. That isn't to say that this does have its flaws, as it does, but it isn't like other courses out there. Overall I think it proves that you don't need to tweak a course with hard/fast greens to make it challenging. Here we are almost through the second round and 1/2 of the best players in the game haven't shot better than -11 and he did it without hard/fast greens. Even more, just about EVERY hole on the course on every day can be birdied. There are a few on different days like #4, #10, #11, ect that birdie is more of a fluke on certain days, but that makes the course absolutely wonderful. I'm sure there will still be people who think -11 or -14 at the Masters is unrealistic, sure it is, but when the average round is -5.5.. that is a successful tourney I think.

Not another superbly hit shot. Baffles me??? I would say my ball striking is up there wiv the best on ps4 yet i have only ever managed 2 holes in 1. From the videos posted on here it seems majority of players from pc hit that perfectly straight shot at a far higher rate than consoles. Quite proud to be able to compete with it once in a while.
Still a great shot.

I was thinking exactely the same so many times now. But I don't wanna complain. Have to take it as it is...

Same here do not want to come across as moaning even though it probably does. Just trying to work out if the gameplay is slightly different. You still have to play the shot well to acheive such shots. It just looks slightly easier on pc to get that perfect white line. Also more videos are posted from pc, which obviously makes it look like it happens more.

I have noticed that a majority of players finishing in the top 20 in most tournaments (web.com anyway) are console players.
